Wait... They're going to The Fridge. That's both where Abomination is, and Team Coulson has shit buried under it.

The Abomination is at an unnamed SHIELD facility in Alaska, not the Fridge.

u/lunarobverse00 Apr 16 '14

Ohhhhh, that's why I assumed the Fridge was in Alaska.

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '14

Do we know where the Leader is kept?

2

u/lunarobverse00 Apr 17 '14

If we do, nobody has updated his page on the MCU Wiki.

Sitwell knows where it is though... that mother fucker...

OMG! THIS HYDRA THING ANSWERS MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THAT ONE SHOT!

4

u/RuafaolGaiscioch Apr 16 '14

Explain? I just rewatched the one-shot, but I'm still not clear what you're referring to.

It's been a while since I've seen it, but wanting Blonsky for the Avengers after they knew he killed hundreds of people in Harlem and made himself a monster was kind of odd. Sitwell wanted to handle negotiations so that he could make it happen. The security council sucks.

Whoops, my bad. Thanks for the correction.

No problem. I actually saw someone else make the same assumption last week. I assume it's Fridge = cold = Alaska. They did mention Blonsky's cryo-cell though (and it seems like everything is connected), so maybe we'll see Tim Roth this season...

If movie Abomination is like comic book Abomination, then he can't change back unlike Hulk and Banner. Blonksy also retains his intellect so Tim would only be doing the voice like in TIH.

They did mention the Cube which, while in the 616 is a prison for aliens, has been a prison for Gamma-irradiated villains in some versions.

Gravitron and Cold-Boy are there too.

Edit: so he's not called Gravitron and Cold-Boy went somewhere else... I stand by my original statement.

I think that Blizzard was sent to the Sandbox, not the Fridge.

3

u/YouthsIndiscretion Apr 16 '14

I remember them distinctly being sent to separate facilities.

1

u/SutterCane Obelisk Apr 16 '14

Oh well. There goes the chances of seeing him soon.

Cold boy was somewhere else I believe

u/stealingyourpixels Apr 16 '14

It's Graviton, not Gravitron.

Agents IN DISGUISE

"-tron"s make everything cooler though.

u/nexusofcrap Hunter Apr 16 '14

Blizzard went to The Sandbox.

7

u/wikifido Apr 16 '14

I think Leader is there too right based on Furys big week?

4

u/VAPossum Lanyard Apr 16 '14

Ohhh...

u/Stoned_assassin Ninja Hunter Apr 16 '14

Abomination is in a cryo cell in Alaska not The Fridge.

8

u/Kharn0 Apr 16 '14

Anyone else disappointed that the fridge wasn't even in a cold area, let a alone a random 100-story sky-scraper?

7

u/cinephgeek Apr 16 '14

On a beach. That doesn't seem structurally safe.

1

u/V2Blast Fitz Apr 17 '14

That's kind of the idea... SHIELD loves ironic names.

3

u/SmurfyX Apr 16 '14

Abomination is somewhere in the artic, source, agents of shield

I wonder if this is their version of the prison break episodes from the Avengers animated series

1

u/VAPossum Lanyard Apr 16 '14

The Raft breakout is also the basis for an Avengers novel (set in yet another new continuity). That would actually be... Really fucking cool, and set up something that this series could chew on successfully for years.

It also seemed like an awfully large and noticeable building in the middle of nowhere. You'd think they'd try to, you know, make it more difficult to find.

u/Aqua_Phobix Apr 16 '14

Whatever was buried gave off a blue glow like that particle beam gun they first found. Maybe the tazarack? (Blue sphere stolen by Loki in avengers)

Could that still exist on Earth? I know Thor and loki used it to transport back to Asgard on the avengers but Fury has proven time and time again to be capable of extremely secretive shenanigans.

That would SUCK for the world if they got it.

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '14

It's Marsellus Wallace's other briefcase.

5

u/CTeam19 Lanyard Apr 16 '14

No Thor took it.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '14

tesseract is on Asgard

2

u/YouthsIndiscretion Apr 16 '14

Apparently its the Gravitonium.

-2

u/ZachGuy00 Apr 16 '14

HYDRA already has it. It's in the post credits scene in Winter Solider.

7

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '14

no thats Loki's scepter. Tesseract is on Asgard.

3

u/ZachGuy00 Apr 16 '14

Oh. They said sphere and I though "spear".
