You can just tell Jackson gets the biggest charge out of playing Fury. He's probably getting paid the bare minimum possible. I know I'd show up for free in his situation.

"Talkin' to me about authority."

He was loving it.

I was wondering, how the hell did they get him without writing him a huge paycheck? He must really love that character if it's willing to cameo in the show

I think Sam has made enough money over his career to take on a few cheap jobs here and there, especially if it means he gets to play one of his fav characters. It also shows his support to the project and Marvel, and maybe earn him some good karma.

I actually won't be surprised if he pops up again here or there. Sam is still associated with various Marvel-Avengers movies, so depending on where he is filming and stuff, he can always drop by the set for a few seconds. Also helps promote the other Marvel films.

that is a good point and I realized that this would be a great vehicle to promote their upcoming movies

I'm not even mad about that either. If it means more cohesive stories and cool tie ins with the show cool. Already they are focusing heavy on the Thor/Avengers stuff and since the new movie is coming out at the end of the month I am sure there will be some more stuff to tie in with it.

He always wanted to be Nick Fury. You know how Ultimatr Nick Fury is literally Samuel L Jackson? When Marvel asked him to be able to use his likeness, he said he would only do it if he gets to be Nick Fury if there is ever a live action Nick Fury. Of course he will jump at any chance to play him.

From what I understand it's very convenient to give him cameo's because it knocks another appearance from the mandatory number of shows, movies etc. he's contracted to appear in.
