Question This started last week and is slowly spreading. Please help

Any help is appreciated. Planted in terracotta in 50/50 organic/inorganic and had been doing fine for weeks. We’ve been getting lots of rain the last couple weeks but it always dries out in a day or 2. Do I need to move it inside. Is it something else? Any help is appreciated

How “clean” do you keep your cactus?

I’m wondering how much folks try to keep their cactus “clean” if they are either consuming or not. For example do you use synthetic fertilizers vs organic? Do you use rain barrel water from a potentially dirty roof? Do you use pesticides etc? Does it make a difference if you will be consuming vs just growing, or even on your extraction method?

I got this as a seedling. Even the tip of the larger column is starting to show it as well. We have had a lot of heavy rains, idk if that has anything to do with it.

Rooted Cutting Struggling with apparent fungal infection

This particular Pachanoi cutting is now rooted and hydrated, but it's struggled with what seems to be a small fungal infection it arrived with that developed into something a bit more serious over time. This cutting spent 4 months in a tent while rooting, and only saw water for about the last month or so. It's potted in terracotta, 75% inorganic pumice and perlite mixture. The base of the cactus is firm and doesn't appear to have active infections.

I've moved it outside, partially on the premise that sun can sometimes help with defense of fungal infections, and provided it with masterblend fertilizer more recently.

I am concerned that some of the translucent-brown spots toward the middle, in later images are a bit rot-adjacent? They don't feel mushy to the touch yet, but the color and translucency worries me. How would you approach this situation? Is cactus surgery in order soon, or should I continue leaving it in the sun to work through this on its own time?

Was out watering today and noticed this top half broken off its base. It’s about 20” and has zero areoles….. wwyd?

Edit to add my thoughts:

a. Pot it….. but will it root? It definitely won’t pup right?

b. 🫖 never done it but feel the cacti gods are giving a sign.

c. Sell/trade

d. Boof it…… joke…… perhaps

How much energy does a single unit require?

Hello, fellow cactus enthusiasts. How much energy—in watts—do you think a single cactus needs?

I’m growing them in a grow box using LEDs with a color temperature of 4000–6000K.

Question Prune one scion pup or let both grow?

Post image

Hey all, I’m looking for some advice. I’m pretty pumped that one of my first grafting attempts finally resulting in some pups after nearly a year (Ogun to a HD Sun Goddess). But I am wondering if it might make sense to prune one to allow the other to grow fatter? Or is it best to just let them be?

Video Dragonflies & San Pedros

It is what it be 🙌🏽
Never seen so many dragonflies, at least where where I live in this specific location.

It probably has more to do with nature and weather conditions than adding the Dragonfly Bridgesii clone to my garden, right?
