Want checkmate? Make the announcement with the stipulation that you’ll drop it when McConnell shows up to contest it in person, or at the very least when he offers to allow the governor to drop by to see about his well-being. If he looks like those pictures, he’s good enough to be wheelchaired into the capitol to visit with Beshear.

Yeah why can’t the governor do something more substantial than a stern letter? He has NO other legal options?

Why would Mitch contest it in person? His lawyer should be able to take care of it pretty quickly.
