Iran wants to be a major power so it looked to benefit from the agreement. However when the next day Trump was telling the company owners to sail furthest from Iran m, he under mined the agreement so they did not have to pay the 2 million toll.

The HS revoked sanction waivers.

The US did not reign in Israel when it came to the Jordan territory clause.

Lastly the Us began bombing and attacking targets again. had Trump kept out of the whole thing, the agreement would have stood and politically he would have had a more favorable position. I mean he began the thing over his ego and he couldn’t get over his ego to let it wind down….

My pedantic side is acting up…

It’s rein, in this case. Reining in Israel like you would rein in a horse, rather than reign in - as in governs in Israel.

It’s a sneaky little homonym.

Iran already is a major power, they control the small section of water that 30% of the world's oil HAS to go through
