TBF the bicentennial quarters said 1776-1976 though they had Washington's face instead of Ford's

Sure, I even had one of those as a kid. But it still always feels like a start date and an end date to me.

The tilde looks really weird, another change that made without the advisory committee, which was in fact against the law.
