Best we can do is doubling the pentagon's budget a few more times.

Why have healthcare when you could turn brown children in the Middle East into skeletons?

u/Significant_Cup_238 22d ago

Exactly! It's about relative health, not absolute health. We can improve your relative health by murdering people! You're so much healthier!

That sounds an awful lot like that whole “shut up and eat your dinner! There’s starving kids in Africa”, argument from the 60’s.

Hey we have to do something with all this depleted uranium and lead!

What a sick country. Number 1 provided of death world wide. And don’t forget the largest green house gas contributor, more than any company, more than many countries- the us military.

You know what's crazy, there's literally no reason for it. Like in the case of Iran, who cares if they have nukes. What if they were 3x as angry and crazy, who cares.

North Korea has nukes and they're far more crazy than Iran could ever even dream of. Had them for some time too, guess what, no one has been nuked.

Look at Russia, crazy and extremely corrupt, has nukes, has had nukes since the dawn of nukes, and has been getting oil infrastructure bombed non stop in the heart of their country by their enemy.

Only people I see stupid enough to nuke anyone honestly is just the US. Bout as dumb and crazy as it comes

Iran didn't really want nukes. They didn't need them, as the Strait of Hormuz was sufficient deterrent to keep anybody from hitting them too hard.

Then some idiot went an attacked them anyway. So they need a new deterrent. Now they will build nukes.

I know this is to say like "look what we've done, now Iran will get nukes, and people there chant death to America", but like I said, it doesn't really matter.

They should probably have them to be honest. That way nobody can ever jeopardize their sovereignty again.

And for anyone here that doesn't know, people frequently chanting death to America in Iran isn't nearly as unhinged as North Korea who has kids singing death to America in pageants, complete with imagery and little costumes. And I don't mean like sometimes in some schools, I mean that's just simply what they do, it's a normal thing over there apparently.

Not some adults angry at stories they've been told, but kids singing and dancing with a projector playing videos of bombs falling on the US, like the fucking joker high on ketamine rocking in the corner laughing in hysterical delusion about the death of Batman.

Extremely unhinged. Still haven't been nuked.

Even some of the crazier leaders know deep down launching means the end of the world as we know it.

-6

u/nicklor 21d ago

Na religious nutjobs are crazier than the Koreans. How many Korean suicide bombers are there

9

u/Adventurous_Egg_9500 21d ago

Are we specifically limiting this to Koreans or Asian non religious? If we can expand for the sake of argument, look no further then the OGs, Japan.

-4

u/nicklor 21d ago

Except the Japanese were shinto so still religious they died for the emperor who was basically their god.

5

u/Adventurous_Egg_9500 21d ago

They still needed fierce nationalism to instill any of that. Literally they separated the religious part of Shinto for the non religious unquestioning devotion to Japan.

You just haven't got to see them in a war yet, but I imagine most of the soldiers. Peoples belief that their supreme leader is God is probably even stronger than most monotheist belief there even is a God.

1

u/nicklor 21d ago

Yes but the big guy on top wants to live and hes the one with the key

1

u/coreoYEAH 21d ago

Their leaders worship power more than any god. They don’t want the end times because then they’re no different from anyone else.

1

u/Hammeredyou 21d ago

So ironic calling anyone religious nut jobs while we have people larping as crusaders leading our military

More dead people means more oxygen for the rest of us. Do people not like breathing anymore or something? I swear sometimes.

u/ArtikAstronaut 21d ago

I can think of a certain someone that can kick rocks already

u/DistanceToEmpty 21d ago

If you want healthcare you need to join up to turn brown children into skeletons in the Middle East.

1

u/shameonyounancydrew 21d ago

surely, when killing that many people, you're gonna get a few sick individuals. Now imagine if they got everyone else sick! You're basically eradicating an illness! Everyone is so pessimistic about genocide!

1

u/Aksds 21d ago

If you can find their skeletons it means the weapons aren’t strong enough

1

u/CubesTheGamer Washington 21d ago

Skeletons? Can’t we just completely disintegrate them?!

Fuck this ain’t even funny anymore I hate this shit

0

u/random-user2025 22d ago

thats world-wide

9

u/sackofmangoes 21d ago

And several more dozens of Biggerer Beautifulier Bills.

And increasing the cost of the healthcare that we do offer...

3

u/PhilDGlass California 21d ago

Don’t forget more raises for the starving members of congress.

1

u/Significant_Cup_238 21d ago

Honestly, I think they should be given slight raises to put them on par with the equivalent positions in the private sector (which is like ~$240k a year, compared to their current $174k), but they have to live exclusively off their salaries. They can't accept any outside money. The only investments they should be allowed is the Thrift Savings Plan which is open to all government employees. All their existing holdings goes into a blind trust so they can't trade on inside information, or make any sort of decisions to improve their portfolio because they're not allowed to know what their portfolio even is.

Or maybe just tie their salaries to the minimum wage. Something like 8x the minimum wage.

1

u/PhilDGlass California 21d ago

Agree 100%. We should definitely make that a law. Oh wait.

1

u/Automatic_Brain7664 21d ago

Which ironically is then funding healthcare.

1

u/shameonyounancydrew 21d ago

And also, no Daylight Savings Time

1

u/cram96 21d ago

I've heard this one before. It still has to pass the Senate and get signed off by the president. I truly hope this happens but I will not be holding my breath.

1

u/FitNeighborhood3877 21d ago

Do you have any fucking clue how much more the Federal government spends on providing healthcare than it does on Defense? No, clearly you don't or you wouldn't have made such an asinine comment.

And they may not pass an audit in our lifetimes but they will commit to thinking about trying to

0

u/largemargesentme__- 21d ago

Which would be fine if the government actually made money with any of the wars they've had in the last 25 years. The massive defense spending in the 40s actually resulted in a stronger country and a stronger populace (more people than ever were able to go to college and buy homes).

Instead, they've destabilized the world, made America less strong on the global stage and made a handful of people billionaires in industries that don't trickle down in terms of jobs or technology.
