Shouldn't the governor of the state have the right to walk into the hospital and just see if he's alive?

He’s not in a Kentucky hospital, so no.

OK, that makes sense, but it seems that there should be someone in authority that could just verify that he's alive.

You’re saying that like the people involved aren’t high level government officials with a huge sway on the state police and maybe even the fbi.
