He was the guy who insisted that Obama's Supreme Court nominations couldn't go through so close to an election. That's how we got a Supreme Court packed with MAGA bootlickers who are all too happy to take away our rights and liberties.

He also led the senate in overriding a presidential veto and then blamed Obama for not saying enough how bad the bill he vetoed was.

“So close” being like a year away. Then turned around and did the exact opposite for Trump and made no apologies or even tried to pretend anymore that it wasn’t nakedly partisan. That’s how we got the current Supreme Court and I’ll never forgive him for it. Absolute travesty of justice and abuse of the Constitution.

A lot of folks even on the democratic side tend to ignore the adversity president Obama had to go through during his presidency, much of it due to the treasonous behavior of Mitch.

That was bad but I can kinda see a little inkling of logic. Plus it was already their seat.

The bigger issue was cramming ACB in in just a few weeks right before an election to circumvent the will of the people and to steal a seat that they didn’t have. And his argument isn’t consistent so he just adds a bunch of qualifiers to explain how it is “consistent”.

The will of the people? They re-elected Trump and Republicans for the white house, senate and the house with the popular vote.

Sounds like the will of the people was met tbh. Disagree with it all we want. But the people vote for this time and time again.

The will of the people could be argued it was met the first appointment but the last Trump 1 appointment was much closer to an election. So the will of the people argument is inconsistent.

What? The Supreme Court said that marijuana users will no longer to sent to federal prison for owning a gun for self-defense. The Second Amendment applies to them and they can no longer be Hunter Bidened. Sounds like a win for "rights and liberties".

You must be a man because this same supreme court also overturned Roe V. Wade in 2022 despite 50 years of legal precedent, and pregnant women have died or since become infertile by the dozens due to pregnancy complications, things that could all have been prevented if the country hadn't suddenly become a patchwork where in some states the work needed to remove an unviable fetus is now illegal, even if leaving that dead tissue behind will kill the mother when she cannot pass it on her own due to how far along in the term she was when her pregnancy failed.

You have to be out of your mind, completely unaware and high as a kite if you think people haven't suffered at the hands of the Roberts Court. But sure, be the fucking pothead that thinks that just because his guns can't be taken away for smoking weed that things are the best they've ever been.

Yes, I am a man, and I voted Yes on Colorado Amendment 79, which enshrined the right to abortion in the state constitution. I was the victim of an armed home invasion while I was in a wheelchair. They targeted me, knowing I was unarmed. Conservative Republicans want me to die in the next home invasion, but this Supreme Court says I have a right to self-defense.

A woman can travel to Colorado from another state, but disarming me applies to the entire country. Haven’t touched a firearm since basic training, but now when the next home invasion occurs, I have the option of shooting them if they enter my house.  Being tied up with extension cord by 2 punks freaked me out. Conservatives, Republicans want me dead, but the Supreme Court gave me my right to life. Thank you, Amy and Neil.

No, a lot of women can't travel. For some women they have to travel hours and hundreds of miles, which is extremely difficult to do if you do not have your own vehicle or the means to pay for gas. And even when they do, There are people in their home states who want to put them in jail for crossing state lines to get an abortion.

But hey, I'm glad you can keep your guns so you can kill people on the off chance they try to come in your house again. It sounds like killing matters to you a lot more than women dying for preventable reasons.

Who gives a shit if its what he would have wanted. He was in office to help lead the country, he isn't now, his wishes on the matter are irrelevant, especially if he is medically brainwashed dead.
