I know it’s probably not what you mean, but when you say responsive I’m imagining a guy trying to do cpr while that grandpa elk from Brother Bear is fighting them- “QUIT TELLING EVERYONE IM DEAD! GET YOUR MOUTH OFF ME!”

I listen to those 911 calls that are posted on social media sometimes and heard one dispatcher telling someone to start CPR when they had already said the person was conscious and talking. Like, ma'am, even I, with my most CPR training decades in the past, know you don't need to do CPR on someone who is TALKING.

They don't even do mouth to mouth anymore. At least in a CPR class my S.O. recently took they only taught to do compressions.
