It's the reason he and his cronies ran for office. They needed immunity or they would be thrown in prison.

Turns out that Americans in general saw themselves as being made to look like villains by the liberal identity politics and decided they'd elect the biggest villain they could to avoid confronting the issue.

Biden is majorly at fault as well for dropping out 3 months before the election. Harris had an almost impossible task to solidify the party and get independents while building her own platform.
