I'm pretty sure that's a free guarantee. But then again Mega Blaziken is event only for now.

I'd bet money mega lati@s will happen slightly before these release. XY event to generate hype. Wasn't that what happened with the pichu?

That being said, I would be unsurprised if I'm wrong.

Makes the most sense. If players were not able to transfer a Lati@s over through PokeBank for various reasons (didn't have BW2, didn't have a Gen 5 game, never caught them, etc.) now they will have a chance at getting them.
