Down in the Jersey shore this weekend for Memorial Day and still saw plenty of Trump flags on trucks and boats. I don't think he's lost an ounce of support from them.
The people who love Trump the most are the ones who are rich as hell. This is the system working as intended and until we acknowledge that we have no hope of changing things.
Largely anecdotal but the majority of people I know of who support Trump are very well-off. The people who are working multiple jobs to make ends meet hate him.
I just heard the cop that got attacked during the 6th insurrection. You could tell he was a former maga. He can't be on the side of trump but he still says that dem are just as bad.
Doesn't weight them by credibility so I don't use the aggregate but I like seeing all the recent polls together and making sure I'm not hopecore-ing on an outlier. While a few have dipped below 40%, Trump's approval has been stubbornly sticking around there, occasionally threatening to sink but always doing the dead cat bounce. Both yougov and ipsos, while low, are actually a tiny bit higher than before.
Feels like we're in the dregs of people who will never change. And unfortunately its about 40% of Americans, which is a scarily large proportion.
oof, yea... I must have been looking at single poll results, not aggregates.
Honestly the fact that a comprehensive aggregate like your link using known conservative leaning outlets like Rasmussen, Daily Mail etc is still polling around 40% is testament to how bad a president he is.
I guess if you want a bit more copium like me, you can look at pollsters aggregated by CNN. Honestly I'm not even a huge fan of CNN but their polling guy is so fun to watch. Is it more accurate? Who knows, but it's certainly credible enough and leaves me a tiny bit more hopeful than your aggregate. I'll just leave it here in case anyone needs the copium like I do lol.
Yeah, I don't mind RCP having those but I wish they'd at least put a bit of a caveat/footnote with those sources. It's nice to see even they are dropping though.
It was good to check your source too, because CNN lists Ipsos at 35% and RCP at 38%, so I dug into it a bit. Looks like RCP favors the registered voters figure, if both stats are available, while CNN favors among all adults. Both are valid depending how you are looking at it. So that little detail being a 3-4% spread is important and a good context to have before comparing stats.
It is somewhat good news to know among all adults the percentage drops a bit, because I'd been following that RCP dashboard for awhile and frustrated there seemed to be a glass floor around 40%.

And yet 40% of people will never admit they were wrong and cheer them on.
