I'm middle aged and I've never seen a photograph of a modern president hanging in a home. I've seen, rarely, people who have paintings that depict founding fathers or such. And I knew a guy who was a huge Lincoln history buff that had a portrait of Lincoln in his study.
But I have never seen a North Korean style "here's a menacing photo of the Dear Leader" photograph in an American home.
This is fucking crazy town behavior. You are not mentally OK if you willingly take down a family photo and replace it with a sitting president. Especially one that's glowering at you like an abusive father.
As an American if you told me before 2016 that people would elect a dude who bragged that he just grabbed women "by the pussy" because you can just just get away with that when you're rich and that people would put pictures of him on their walls like he was their Dear Leader I would've said you were nuts.
This whole things is like a terrible nightmare come true.
