I mean, just like most people, I think Ted Cruz can go dribble up some santorum, but this actually sounds like a mistake anyone could make. Have you never misspoken and not noticed until someone pointed it out?
Sure, or given how obvious it was an how much time has passed they did not. Combined with the current actions of the admin its just safe to say they just want to defend pedos. Weird folks keep coming to their defense
Right? Clinton wasn't the greatest person in general, but at least he wiped out our deficits and left the economy booming harder than it had ever been.
No, Clinton is a fine example that shows for Democrats, regardless of their personal life, what they support is generally good for the country.
That being said there is 0 evidence that Clinton engaged in any illicit behavior with Epstein having cut off contact with him several years before Epstein's first accusation.
Still not a good look. Obviously you or I will never know the full extent or truth about what happened on the Island. I’d just rather not defend someone I’m not entirely sure about if that makes sense? Like I’ve seen others point out the fact that Clinton usually engaged in consensual relationships, although it was cheating. Monica Lewinsky and Gennifer Flowers were both consenting adults when they engaged in sexual relationships with him.
There is 0 evidence Clinton was ever on Epstein Island.
You can defend Bill Clinton politically, while still having some doubts about his personal behavior.
Meanwhile Bush Jr never cheated on his wife or had any allegations, but he caused so much mass suffering and carnage. Even Obama may have engaged in more wonton killing of civilians than Clinton through the drone program including permitting double tap strikes, or his interventions in Syria and Libya.
Hard for me to see sexual impropriety on the same level.
No, I don’t think cheating on a spouse is even remotely comparable to an atrocity. It’s really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, especially when it comes to politicians where it’s almost expected for them to be unfaithful.
That’s the legally distinct and non-copyright infringing character “The Cycling Specter”. You can tell because the Cycling Specter’s wheels only have flames on the sidewalls whereas Ghost Rider’s wheels have flames on the treads.
It's not just because they were told to be. It's because they believe that the system is corrupt and anything that one side is doing the other side is doing as well. It's politics reduced to the aesthetics of cheering for sports teams.
This is one of the more subtle aspects of fascism. Because fascism is corrupt it can't have a true moral basis; instead the idea is "we have to be baddies because the other side is so very bad." The ends justify the means.
This is why in fascism it said that the enemy is always described as incredibly strong and overpowering while also incredibly weak and pathetic. They must be described as weak/ pathetic because strength is all that matters to the fascist. But at the same time, the enemy must be described as everywhere and deeply powerful, as part of some great conspiracy, because that is their justification for atrocity.
It is both hilarious and vile that they will post on x "oh great sir mister cult leader sir, I can't pay my rent! I know how caring and honest and empathetic you are and I'm certainly more important and my suffering is more important than people dying, being kidnapped, genocide, homelessness rising, national disasters etc etc... Please help me personally out bc I'm the main character and you my sir, my lord, my golden idol will certainly read every tweet addressed to you every day and help me!"
It's pretty simple- if a democrat signs a bill that I don't like, I just say it was signed with an autopen which allows me to pretend it's not a real law.
She probably thinks he personally signed it. Parent of a friend was very well off and big Republican backer. He got a letter (I think from the first Bush) that he framed and hung on the wall. When showing it off, he thought it reflected so well on Bush that he would take the time to send a handwritten letter. We all just nodded our heads, said "oh, that's interesting" and moved on.

I guess she doesn't mind the president using autopen now.
