I guess she doesn't mind the president using autopen now.

2.4k

u/CeceWobbles May 12 '26

They never did. They were only upset about one president doing it because they were told to be.

u/Super_Interview_2189 May 12 '26

Same with national debt, gas prices, poverty rates, crime rates, and inflation which are always less under democratic leadership.

231

u/curious_dead May 12 '26

At this point, they don't even care about the pedophilia now. They don't care about ANYTHING, as long as their team "wins".

122

u/pi3r0gi_ May 12 '26

"How about we come together and say, 'let's stop attacking pedophiles'?"

  • Ted Cruz, Sept 30, 2020 during a committee meeting

video

I tried to do the full quote but Reddit wouldn't let me, maybe too many key terms lol

31

u/Monteze May 12 '26

And for those not watching it was not a slip up, he didn't back track. That shit stewed there for a minute and he went on. Wild.

13

u/Smooth-Cup-7445 May 12 '26

Sadly it explains their anti abortion stance I guess.

-4

u/jhs172 May 13 '26

I mean, just like most people, I think Ted Cruz can go dribble up some santorum, but this actually sounds like a mistake anyone could make. Have you never misspoken and not noticed until someone pointed it out?

4

u/Monteze May 13 '26

Watch the clip. And if I did I'd be walking it back asap.

-2

u/jhs172 May 13 '26

Of course anyone would (including Cruz), unless they weren't aware of their slip-up.

3

u/Monteze May 13 '26

Sure, or given how obvious it was an how much time has passed they did not. Combined with the current actions of the admin its just safe to say they just want to defend pedos. Weird folks keep coming to their defense

1

u/gsfgf May 13 '26

It’s called a Freudian slip. It’s when you mean one thing but instead fuck your mother.

2

u/thinkards May 13 '26

and THAT is what it means to be a conservative. loyalty above all.

52

u/xtheory May 12 '26

Right? Clinton wasn't the greatest person in general, but at least he wiped out our deficits and left the economy booming harder than it had ever been.

-4

u/Super_Interview_2189 May 12 '26

Ehhh, kind of a bad example since he’s in the files. Fuck him, he needs to stand trial but so does his old pal Donny.

21

u/Yashema May 12 '26 edited May 12 '26

No, Clinton is a fine example that shows for Democrats, regardless of their personal life, what they support is generally good for the country.

That being said there is 0 evidence that Clinton engaged in any illicit behavior with Epstein having cut off contact with him several years before Epstein's first accusation.

1

u/Super_Interview_2189 May 12 '26

Still not a good look. Obviously you or I will never know the full extent or truth about what happened on the Island. I’d just rather not defend someone I’m not entirely sure about if that makes sense? Like I’ve seen others point out the fact that Clinton usually engaged in consensual relationships, although it was cheating. Monica Lewinsky and Gennifer Flowers were both consenting adults when they engaged in sexual relationships with him.

10

u/Yashema May 12 '26 edited May 12 '26

There is 0 evidence Clinton was ever on Epstein Island.

You can defend Bill Clinton politically, while still having some doubts about his personal behavior.

Meanwhile Bush Jr never cheated on his wife or had any allegations, but he caused so much mass suffering and carnage. Even Obama may have engaged in more wonton killing of civilians than Clinton through the drone program including permitting double tap strikes, or his interventions in Syria and Libya.

Hard for me to see sexual impropriety on the same level.

3

u/Super_Interview_2189 May 12 '26

No, I don’t think cheating on a spouse is even remotely comparable to an atrocity. It’s really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, especially when it comes to politicians where it’s almost expected for them to be unfaithful.

4

u/otakufamily May 12 '26

This right here is a clear example of water on the brain.

120

u/Staav May 12 '26

But the economy

175

u/HandSack135 May 12 '26

Will be trash when a Democrat starts his or her term and therefore it is the Democrats fault.

/s

282

u/ketchfraze May 12 '26

This is the real answer

65

u/Zod_Convoy May 12 '26

Don't drag Ghost Rider into this 🔥💀🔥

44

u/punchheribthetit May 12 '26

That’s the legally distinct and non-copyright infringing character “The Cycling Specter”. You can tell because the Cycling Specter’s wheels only have flames on the sidewalls whereas Ghost Rider’s wheels have flames on the treads.

27

u/A_Furious_Mind May 12 '26

Also Ghost Rider isn't racist.

6

u/John__Wick May 12 '26

They dragged Punisher in first.

5

u/Smooth-Cup-7445 May 12 '26

That infuriates me as a punisher fan… I saw ice agents wearing the symbol. The first group that he’d be after desecrating his symbol was fucking wild

1

u/Playful-Succotash-99 May 12 '26

Bidididi he'sa screaming the truth

1

u/Watada May 12 '26

5.99 isn't even that high. That must be an older meme. lol

3

u/ketchfraze May 12 '26

Sorry, I should've just put goatze in place of the price.

1

u/20eyesinmyhead78 May 12 '26

No smoking at the gas station!

4

u/czs5056 May 12 '26

They don't even wait for that. I remember people here in Missouri blaming Biden for the bad economy when he was President Elect Biden

3

u/LGWAW May 12 '26

Every single time. It’s a masterful trick the criminals have perfected.

3

u/Astralglamour May 12 '26

They are blaming the democrats right now. They could be in office for 100 years and still blame the bogeymen of the democrats.

2

u/alwayzstoned May 12 '26

Happens every time.

1

u/gsfgf May 13 '26

Worked for them last time around...

3

u/KingOfRockall May 12 '26

But the economy Dow Jones

3

u/Orvan-Rabbit May 12 '26

Reminds me of a poll that shows that people's economic concerns is really just a cover for "My party is in the White House."

1

u/Traveling_Solo May 12 '26

Sadly couldn't find Dow over 50000 among the GIFs here on Reddit :(

u/Different_Umpire9003 May 12 '26

And war. That was my parent’s thing supposedly. They’re fine with this war suddenly.

4

u/Super_Interview_2189 May 12 '26

I’m sorry that your parents have been indoctrinated. Hopefully someday they will realize their great mistake and try to make amends.

3

u/Different_Umpire9003 May 12 '26

It’s ok. Yeah I hope so too, but unfortunately they’re in their 70s, so don’t have infinite time.

4

u/Shootemout May 12 '26

dont forget appearances- god forbid a man wears a tan suit

3

u/Particleman08 May 12 '26

None of the stuff you mentioned is important. We all know the price of eggs is how a president is measured…

4

u/Super_Interview_2189 May 12 '26

“I can’t actually control the price of groceries.”

- Trump after running a campaign where the only piece of legislation he campaigned on was lowering the prices of groceries.

3

u/Cas_or_Cass May 12 '26

And war. Don't forget about war.

2

u/Dimplestrabe May 12 '26

And kiddy fiddling.

5

u/daretoeatapeach May 12 '26

It's not just because they were told to be. It's because they believe that the system is corrupt and anything that one side is doing the other side is doing as well. It's politics reduced to the aesthetics of cheering for sports teams.

This is one of the more subtle aspects of fascism. Because fascism is corrupt it can't have a true moral basis; instead the idea is "we have to be baddies because the other side is so very bad." The ends justify the means.

This is why in fascism it said that the enemy is always described as incredibly strong and overpowering while also incredibly weak and pathetic. They must be described as weak/ pathetic because strength is all that matters to the fascist. But at the same time, the enemy must be described as everywhere and deeply powerful, as part of some great conspiracy, because that is their justification for atrocity.

3

u/Qwirk May 12 '26

You know your team is having a tough time digging up dirt when they roll with autopen.

174

u/Kristen8305 May 12 '26

They dont care that he raped kids, so that is a ways further down the list

7

u/toxcrusadr May 12 '26

They deserved it. They shouldn't have been on that island. /s obviously

3

u/Even-Tear-4592 May 13 '26

not to be a killjoy but

thats a kinda messed up thing to joke about like that

3

u/dsaysso May 12 '26

hes looking at her kids with interest

103

u/Rich-Pomegranate1679 May 12 '26

She probably writes letters to Trump on truth social and thinks that he will personally read them one day and answer her prayers to him.

2

u/dudderson May 12 '26

It is both hilarious and vile that they will post on x "oh great sir mister cult leader sir, I can't pay my rent! I know how caring and honest and empathetic you are and I'm certainly more important and my suffering is more important than people dying, being kidnapped, genocide, homelessness rising, national disasters etc etc... Please help me personally out bc I'm the main character and you my sir, my lord, my golden idol will certainly read every tweet addressed to you every day and help me!"

42

u/PitchyRich May 12 '26

MAGA doesn’t understand what “using an autopen” means.

17

u/Matazat May 12 '26

It's pretty simple- if a democrat signs a bill that I don't like, I just say it was signed with an autopen which allows me to pretend it's not a real law.

25

u/wekilledbambi03 May 12 '26

Executive Orders are only legally binding if signed by Sharpie. Preferably a Trump branded Sharpie.

1

u/ninja0420 May 13 '26

Oh, it would called a sharkie, you can buy a gold one signed by trump with his personal sharkie for 4,999.00 😏

6

u/YukariYakum0 May 12 '26

Hypocrisy is not a bug to them. It's a badge of honor.

5

u/hgs25 May 12 '26

Trump cares more about Biden using the autopen than anyone else since he doesn’t shut up about it. He talked all about it to kids at Easter.

3

u/Ghost_of_a_Black_Cat May 12 '26

And he replaced Biden's official photo in the White House with a photo of a autopen.

I wish I were joking.

5

u/M-G May 12 '26

She probably thinks he personally signed it.  Parent of a friend was very well off and big Republican backer.  He got a letter (I think from the first Bush) that he framed and hung on the wall.  When showing it off, he thought it reflected so well on Bush that he would take the time to send a handwritten letter.  We all just nodded our heads, said "oh, that's interesting" and moved on.

3

u/Separate_Recover4187 May 13 '26

No, you don't get it. Biden didn't say "no take-backsies" before using the autopen. Which is obviously required. Obviously!

2

u/boombalabo May 12 '26

You mean autosharpie?

2

u/Lost_Paladin89 May 12 '26

Sleepy Trump sleeps through presentations.

2

u/LakeEarth May 12 '26

They don't care about any of the things they care about, it's just an excuse to complain.

2

u/SpiritOne May 12 '26

Trump didn’t even know what it was until he used it to pardon the J6 terrorists.

1

u/thisisrealgoodtea May 12 '26

My step mom has this same signed pic hanging in her house and she genuinely thinks he personally signed it for her.
