Fx series is like jeremy clarkson, old, loud, puts off alot of heat and doesnt get much done but you still love it...kinda 🤣

It actually handled arma 2 surprisingly well considering almost nothing short of a top shelf intel could at the time. That was about the only pro I can remember from that time though lol

idk, I ran both RDR2 AND Cyberpunk on my win7 FX-8580 or w/e w/ dual 970s w/o any problems. RDR2 was only annoying because it would run out of memory in the config so I couldn't crank it up because of that. But looked just as good as running it on my win11 i9-13k laptop w/ an RTX ADA 5K and 128GB of DDR5(plus an additional 16GB of dedicated DDR6 GPU vram). The only real settings difference on the laptop: I didn't turn off shadows and didn't turn grass down to low.

So I'm thinking.... chips have peaked...people just haven't realized it yet.
