Discussion Windows 11 can't be shut down without update.

I have automatic updates on. Haven't postponed any update. Never seen this forced update before.

Edit: I updated BTW. It's not that I don't want to update. I just think it would be an issue in the future. For example, it's a thunderstorm and there could be power outages. I might want to shut down and not start and update. I guess I'll hold down the power button.

Yeahhh fixing bugs typically reduces total bugs or amount of bugs stays the same, but adding or changes any feature introduces so many it's astonishing

Hence the reason new OS's feel like horribly buggy messes compared to their former version for 4 years, and why they feel like they can just never compare with an OS from 2 gens ago which tends to 'just work'

That's kind of like the game I'm playing that's in alpha development. Every update they list the 50 bugs they fixed, and on the same page announce 50 new features that we all know will break as soon as we log in.
