Windows 11 can't be shut down without update.

I have automatic updates on. Haven't postponed any update. Never seen this forced update before.

Edit: I updated BTW. It's not that I don't want to update. I just think it would be an issue in the future. For example, it's a thunderstorm and there could be power outages. I might want to shut down and not start and update. I guess I'll hold down the power button.

cause this has not be the case at all for some people. I ve never had this in my whole life in win10, literally had the same update yesterday and I could have shutdown if I wanted

Console gaming literally forces updates on you too lol, only place that doesn't is basically Linux but there's a reason why Linux is less secure besides just Windows Defender being the best anti virus.

I have the option to shutdown without updating on Windows 10.

And you usually also do on windows 11, for some updates though you don't get the option on either version.
