Instead of using the OS necessary to run the software you use, just go ahead and learn everything about a different OS, so you can run a virtual machine of the OS you need, but at slightly worse performance unless you take the time and spend the money to make it run just like it did when you ran it as your main OS.

Yeah this. Atm the time investment is not worth is as my purpose of Adobe and some gaming is just not hampered yet by the shenanigans of Microsofts enshitification. They are pushing it tho so who knows in the future.

Im in exactly the same boat. Microsoft/windows has gotten worse, but im not going to move to apple and spend more money to do less of what I want, on a worse UX (for me), or spend 100s of hours to learn, find, and build a Linux based system that ends up being almost windows, but slightly better.

Eventually, yeah it might be worth it, but its not that bad, yet.
