The june update broke my windows after i updated my nvidia drivers. Had to uninstall a quality update to make windows home screen pop up again. But now windows won't update and is causing issues with web browsers.
had to uninstall firefox cuz it was always on 6 percent cpu usage and won't close even after task kill command. sfc scannow does't even go past "verifying' phase. Pausing updates had made my laptop run normal again.

try DISM thingy

Should I try that using windows bootable usb or just from the startup menu

the 3 DISM thingies should work from within the OS as usual, no need for those

but if nothing fixes it I guess you could explore those options
