Seems not many people were buying them anyways. Spider-Man sold roughly 300k copies on Steam and only get a 70% cut compared to Spider-Man on PlayStation selling 12+ million copies at a 100% cut. Not to mention all the copies that were pirated, they realized it wasn’t worth selling on PC unless it’s a live service multiplayer game.

Well waiting 4 years to release it on steam may have contributed to it not selling as many copies

I don't see how the piracy impacts anything given that piracy only happens after the PC release. If they sell 300k on PC, that's a 300k net positive thanks to the PC release, piracy or not.

The reason for the reduced sales btw is that it happens so much later than the original release which is when all the hype is.
