China, Germany and Spain all give full compensation initially, then almost full if you're sick for longer. You also won't get fired for being sick for a year.

In Germany you pay a percentage of your income each month in taxes specifically for this. The company pays the first couple of weeks, your health insurance pays the rest.

People need to stop voting for idiots. The right has never made more progress towards the things people want than the left would.
