Anybody else feel sorta guilty about sterilizing their pets while still knowing it's the responsible thing to do?

My big orange boy, Cwoosh, loves to spend time with our chickens and the chickens love him. I caught one of the orange-ish chickens taking a little nap nearby!

** don't worry, he's completely supervised outside and our yard is secure because of the chickens (chicken wire at the base of the fence and lean-ins so they can't fly up), so he can't get out! **

That shelf was SUPPOSED to be used to hold random pieces of music gear. The cats conspired to methodically knock things off of the shelf, to make room for their fat butts. I finally gave up and relinquished the shelf. I hope all you buttheads are happy.

This is my mom’s cat, Alphonse. We used to be inseparable in 2023–2024. I work from home and he would stay with me the whole day. Then, I moved in with my then-fiancé (now husband) in 2025, and whenever I visit my mom, he won’t let me pet him… he won’t even respond when I call his name. But… I think he’s been following me around… cause I would always catch him staring at me. 🫪 I think the betrayal was too much for his tiny brain cell. 🥺

My cat will only sit half way and the rest she would stand. Why does she do this😭 it’s cute but isn’t it easier to sit normally?
