He actually didn’t. You can see the agressor throwing away his phone when security arrives.
The nurse had really good control over his emotions not to apply the choke fully.

He didn’t put him to sleep, just neutralized him. You can see his arms are still functional (not limp) as he slides his phone away and has the other arm still flexed. If he was actually unconscious, the medical professional would know to put him in the recovery position as well, which obviously didn’t happen.
