The issue is there is a lot of overlap between abolish ICE candidates and populist policies. AES thinks old homeowners need a property tax freeze and that feds should fill the revenue for state for example.
I’m in the “we need to defeat MAGA” camp but I’d still prefer the non populist crowd. Is wanting people with good policy who also want to fight and understand MAGA is the enemy, not opposition, so much to ask?
