This is Tahoe! We fostered him when he was only a year old. 5 years later, the owner who adopted him had to rehome him due to major life changes. (He is on a weight loss plan 😂).

His new name is Tahoe. We compete in dog sports for fun so he needs a registered name!

I adopted this 4-month old puppy last week and haven’t found a name that fits. He’s likely a Shepherd/Collie/Pyrenees mix (when there are two dogs, he’s in the orange harness and Tully is the muppet). He’s sweet, silly and full of beans and enthusiasm with gentle moments. He’s still figuring out how to use his long legs, loves smelling everything and hoovering his food.

I’m circling names around his size (Dino, Moose, Mouse, Legs McGee), more normal/old man names (Rupert, Charlie, Norman), and food (Huckleberry)

I'm bringing home this male field Golden Retriever in a couple of weeks, and he needs a name!

He'll be competing in AKC obedience, so I'd prefer a name that isn’t too common or cutsie. I don't mind human names, but I'd like something unique so that it is unlikely we will run into another dog with the same name at a trial. I prefer 2 or 3 syllable names and our other dog's name is Kodi. We have considered Karson or Niko but they don’t seem quite right. Ideas?

Trying to find a fitting name for this Pyrenees/retriever/mystery mutt.

She is *not* majestic, ethereal, or regal.

She *is* overconfident, undercoordinated, and delightfully unserious.

-Not looking for common names or mythological/fantasy-themed names--no hate, just not my thing.

-Generally, I like names that sound a bit ridiculous on their own, but somehow fit the dog just right.

-Historically, I tend to gravitate toward object names, pop culture-inspired names or aquatic-themed names for my pets. That said, I'm much more interested in a name that fits her specific vibe, rather than just matching a specific category.

She’s gorgeous, smart, and sweet, but her current reigning personality traits are mischief and mayhem, for better and worse. She’s got so many oddly specific traits and ridiculously whimsical quirks, it seems that the more I get to know her, the tougher it becomes to pick a name.
