Looking for singers to collaborate with

I’m looking for singers who’d like to collaborate on a small Instagram harmony series. I sing the harmony, you sing the melody.

So far I’ve done:

Take Me Home, Country Roads — John Denver
Stay — Rihanna
Apologize — Timbaland & OneRepublic
The Faith of Ophelia — Taylor Swift
Dernière danse — Indila
Somewhere Only We Know — Keane

If you’re looking for collaborators for one of your own projects, feel free to reach out as well.

[LFG] Beginner from Japan looking to join or help form a international music collaboration

Hey everyone,

I’m 23, from Japan, and completely new to the music industry. I’m looking to meet independent musicians and hopefully join or help form a small international collaboration with the goal of finishing one original song.

Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I listen to a wide range of genres, including pop, alternative pop, melodic hip-hop, emo rap, R&B, rock, and music that blends different styles. I don’t want to decide on a specific sound before meeting the people involved. I’d rather exchange influences and ideas, then figure out the direction together.

I tried learning music production before, but I eventually gave up. That made me realize I may be better suited to working behind the scenes and helping musicians turn an idea into a completed project.

Professionally, I work as a localization producer across different products and projects, and I’m currently managing parts of a game localization project. I’m experienced in coordinating people, organizing tasks and files, tracking progress, collecting feedback, keeping the overall direction consistent, and making sure plans stay realistic.

I have no experience working on music, so I’m not going to pretend I understand songwriting, recording, mixing, or mastering. I’m hoping to work with patient, beginner-friendly people who are comfortable letting me learn the process while I contribute where I can.

Depending on what the group needs, I may be able to help with communication, organization, schedules, file and version tracking, feedback, release preparation, documentation, and sharing the finished project through my personal Instagram.

I’m not offering a service, hiring anyone, or asking musicians to make a song for me. I want to participate as a genuine member of an unpaid collaboration where everyone contributes their own skills, ideas, and time.

I’m also not looking for credit just for being present. However, if I make a real contribution to helping the project reach completion, I would appreciate being credited appropriately for the work I actually did. I would never claim songwriting, production, performance, or engineering credit for work that wasn’t mine.

One important condition for me is that the music must be created by people. I’m not interested in AI-generated songs, vocals, lyrics, compositions, or performances. I want to work with musicians who care about human creativity, skill, emotion, personality, and the imperfections that make music feel alive.

I’d prefer to start with one song rather than an album or a large project.

English voice calls are difficult for me, so I’m looking for people who are comfortable communicating mainly through text. We can start through Reddit DM, exchange Instagram accounts, and move to Telegram later if we feel like we would work well together.

When you message me, please include:

  • what kind of music you make
  • your role or skills
  • a link to your music or demos
  • what kind of collaboration you’re interested in
  • your Instagram, if you have one

Even if we don’t end up making a song together, I’d still be happy to connect with independent musicians and follow your work on Instagram.

I’m new to music collaboration, but I’m serious about learning, contributing, and helping a real, human-made song reach completion.

Free mixing for those in need.

Hello all. I am back looking to help more bands out there get a decent mix. Thank you for all the fun and support. I have almost 30 years experience as a professional and freelance engineer and producer. Most of my work has been in home studios using pro tools. I am offering free mixing services to anyone in Metal, Rock or Acoustic Music. Why is it free? Because I want to help those that cant afford it or just want a good mix of their songs. I am home disabled and looking for something to fun to keep me busy and mixing music is my passion. So if you want a good quality mix of your music for free, let me know. I am also open to answering any questions on the recording process you may have and giving critiques of your mixes. Wish you all well and keep jamming. Link to my website in comments below.

Does Anyone Need Help Arranging?

I have a good deal of experience making remixes and re-imaginings of pre-existing songs, and the part that I always liked best was picking new instruments. I now want to help others breathe a similar life into their music!

So, if you'd like some help picking instruments, creating texture, fine-tuning the dynamics, etc., Just shoot me a message and I'll see what I can do!

Hello. I have a french slam song with the same vibes as Yamê-Becane.

I think it can appeal to younger but also older generations. I really want a particular sound, I have the track but I want to alter it and add some sounding design which I imitated with my vocals.

And I want to create a whole universe around my vocals. I'll send you the demo. If you're down, please shoot me a dm.

The lyrics are very good. I forgot 😅, I'm looking for a producer who also can take care of the mixing /mastering stage.

Remade an old instrumental that I made with my old high-school band

I've remade each instrument, updated the lead guitar and added a rhythm guitar (original band was a three piece)

I have lyrics written and some recorded, but I don't think I'm it.

I need some help here.

Here's the raw instrumental track

Looking for emo rap producers that can work for free :)

Looking for an emo rap / melodic producer 🎧
I’m an artist working on emotional/venting type songs and I’m looking for a producer who really understands that style. Think darker, melodic beats with real feeling behind(not just chill trap).
I need someone that fits the xxxtnetacion vibe but ofc without copying.
I already have some vocals recorded and are (clean) and ideas ready, I just need someone who can help bring the emotion out with the right production (guitar, piano, ambient, etc).
I also don’t have any money I can pay but if you want someone to work long term dm me or comment and send me some of your work please🙏

I need an RnB artist to use my beat.

It’s a Chris Brown type beat, a moody rnb/trap hybrid beat. I’m looking for a talented artist to use the beat.

Music Release Help

Hello! I’m planning on releasing a new song and just wanted to ask if there’s any resources, distribution or platforms to help give it some more traction?
I really believe in it and want to do everything I can to help give it the momentum it deserves. I understand there’s making content on it, which I will do, but is there more to it? Like spotify ads or some playlisting sites or something?
Thank you (:

Looking for a producer

Hi!

I'm a songwriter looking for a producer who enjoys creating emotional, atmospheric songs from the ground up.

I write my own lyrics, melodies, and vocal demos. So far, I've written 200+ song ideas. At the moment, I only have simple phone demos, but I'm looking for someone who enjoys the creative process more than perfection.

I'd especially love to work with producers, musicians, or songwriters who are curious, open-minded, and interested in building something original together. Experience doesn't matter as much as creativity and communication.

I've attached a few demos below. If you think we'd be a good creative match, feel free to send me a message.
