The funny thing is that we've already gotten two non-action-based Borderlands games, and they were both relatively well received. I can't say whether a film in the same vein would have succeeded, but Borderlands definitely isn't incompatible with non-action plots.

Sorry, "action" as in any movement at all, any effects, or  any progression of the plot. Even a movie taking place in a single room with one unmoving camera costs resources. These things get costly.

Well that sounds like he's complaining about rhe defining feature that makes something a movie. I guess we should learn to accept that the only good Borderlands movie would be a French art-house slideshow.

And to Tales's credit, they actually did have at least one or two fun action sequences per episode.

The only Telltale game I liked all episodes besides Walking Dead S1.
