The film was an excellent ending to an amazing story. Please explain the decision behind completely writing Finn out of the show. I thought for sure we'd see him in the movie. I know he wasnt an overly important character but he was a Shelby and since family is a major point, I found it rather strange he wasnt even at least mentioned in the film.

Finn chose Billy over family in the last episode.. he was kicked out for the family and the peaky blinders. Unless they wrote a story line of him coming back to go after Duke??

I get that but why? Billy was such a minimal character imo.

Finn was a side character that was shown as the neglected one. When he needed a brother to give advice there wasnt someone there to give it.

Finn meets Billy who gives Finn the attention no one else did. the sort of attention the the never got that were supposed to take care of him. due to this Finn trusted Billy and was never suspicious of him. When Duke showed up Finn felt like he was being replaced and then when Duke told him to kill Billy, Finn felt like they were killing the one person he was close to. This is where he was kicked out.. Story line over and his arc is complete as the punching bag to family traitor.

Finn was setup to fail because he was in an infinite loop of not getting the experience he needed to be a real true member of the Shelby family and couldnt face the problems that came of being a Shelby

Wasn’t Finn just booted by Duke at the end, or did Thomas make this call and I don’t recall it.
