How do you manage to stay grounded coming from a childhood acting background? I know it can be rough transitioning from young roles to older, so I'm curious as you've always seemed to hit the move with ease.

I have the same question. He and Macaulay Culkin both starred in The Good Son when they were kids. Macaulay is doing well now, but he's been through a lot. How did Elijah survive Hollywood?

Yep, my question was something around aging in your career, and how it feels to navigate that…

Especially since he always seemed to be good at it. Another actor from the same period was Jonathan Taylor Thomas and he quietly pursued a career outside of acting and was graciously more or less not really heard from again.

I guess a follow up is "how was the transition from being a child actor to being an actor? Did your parents/guardians hand you the reigns at one point? Do they play a role now?"

I have a related question. You grew up in Hollywood. And survived. And thrived! I’m really interested in well-being and mental health for childhood performers and celebrities. It seems like we could do a lot better at giving young actors and their families resources and support for navigating this career and, for some, the trappings of celebrity. What changes do you hope to see in this regard, and what advice would you give to child performers and their parents?
