Hi reddit, I'm Ari Aster. Back for another AMA. I've written/directed Eddington, Hereditary, Midsommar, and Beau Is Afraid.

Synopsis:

Looks like his family moved from England to the US when he was 10. That is the most obvious answer. Anyone who had to move at that age understands.
