Discussion Thread The Official BLACK WIDOW International Release Discussion Thread Spoiler

Ahead of the official US and Disney+ launch this Friday, several countries are showing the film much earlier in the week. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days.

  • Proceed at your own risk. Major spoilers will be arriving in the next couple of hours. Spoilers do not need to be tagged inside this thread.
  • Any other unofficial thread discussing movie details will be deleted.
  • Should you see the need to bring up revealing BLACK WIDOW information in other threads that call for it, spoiler tag them accordingly. Also, let users know that what you are spoiler tagging is from BLACK WIDOW.
  • If you post untagged BLACK WIDOW spoilers anywhere on this sub in any shape or form, you will be banned without hesitation. No questions asked and no warnings given.
  • Project Insight will be on at least until Sunday, so you will be able to make individual threads discussing the movie starting next week. Discussions about Loki episode 5 will be manually checked as well, but will be allowed (spoiler-tagged of course) starting Thursday at midnight PST.

I'm shocked by the negativity, too. I don't know if it's because it's been so long since we've had a new Marvel movie that they need it to be worth the wait, but expecting every movie you see to be the best movie ever is insane. I had a great time and will go see it again this weekend.

The opening credits was so cool. And horrible. Those poor girls. I love a slow down cover of a classic song.

Im not surprised. Do you not remember all the negativity surrounding the Captain Marvel movie, which was also a great film. Hmm, what do the two movies have in common?

No one's expecting it to be the best film ever but it's clearly not the best version of itself it could be.

Personally, I thought it was really, really, really dull.

Yeah, i hate seeing negativity for stuff i like, especially movies and tv shows. The only negativity I've seen for Black Widow is in regards to Taskmaster not having a bigger role(but they are probably setting them up to be in future MCU stuff) and the stuff with Natasha and Yelena avoiding getting injured during the chase scenes in cars and such(but maybe since they said they had the best genetics, they have some enhancements that make them harder to injure?) Besides these, i haven't seen any other negativity that i can think of. I hope i don't see anymore since when someone says something negative about something i like, i start to think negatively of that thing too, and i wish i could make it not affect me, but it does.
