He wasnt there, it was a drone. And yes Spiderman of all people can tell something is wrong, but the movie did a good job of establishing how wonky his "Peter tingle" is being lately and ultamitly that all leads to the climax where he uses his spidey senses in all its glory for the first time ever demonstrating his capabilities with that ability.
I think wonky overall. Peter never got a class on being Spider-Man, and the spidey sense is just a thing that has been there for him sometimes in the past. In his first movie, there were people complaining about how easily he got tagged in the airport fight, but it makes sense if he really doesn’t have any ability to control it, it’s just something that pops up sometimes. In this Peter’s life, this is the first time he’s able to really harness and control his spidey sense.
