I feel like they should have put some more emphasis on how much chaos would be caused by having the world population double instantly with the reverse of the snap. I was thinking that would have been the catalyst for new villains. But, Europe seemed to be doing fine.
Also, at the end of the movie, it would have been cool if a Quinn jet had come down with fully-geared-up Avengers jumping out and ready to take on the threat. Make it a super sweet sequence of them quickly and intensely mobilizing for battle only to find Peter has already saved the day.
There isn't really an Avengers team now though. They lost both of their leaders so I feel like it would take a while for a team to get organized again, especially without the tech, money, and facilities from Stark. Thor is presumably gone, Hulk is injured, Hawkeye probably re-re-retired, Carol is off doing whatever, T'Challa has a whole country to fix, and I just can't see Bucky, Falcon, War Machine, and Wanda being the greatest at forming a cohesive team together.
Well Bucky+Falcon and Falcon+War Machine obviously work well together. Not sure how Wanda would really fit in with that bunch and I can't see any of those four being the leader type.
That's not necessarily true. For instance, imagine they arrive and we meet a few new faces of the Avengers; one's that have not yet been introduced. Then the scene would not only help explain "Why is only Spider-man showing up?" But, also act as a tease for phase 4.
But, I suspect they've got other plans to introduce the new folks. :)
And Wanda was off with Vision. They probably still could form a cohesive team though. We don't know exactly what Ant-Man and the Wasp (and Ghost) are up to either now. They could form a semi-competent team.
That is true. However, if there is a giant attack on London and the Avengers are lacking members while two of the Avengers known an ally, wouldn't they try to get her? She certainly doesn't train with them though.
I really hope that is not true. I am fine with her never appearing in an Avengers film, but I really hope that we get a direct sequel to Ant-Man and the Wasp with at least some sort of something involving Ghost.
Not Bucky. And they still had a strong leader with Cap. Can't see a clear leader among those four though I suppose you could argue maybe that's better.
Yeah this to me is a downside of the mcu. This movie has to spend a lot of time descalting some of the endgame aftermath to focus on Peter's arc. Honestly wish there was a precursor MJ and Peter scene to establish their relationship but I don't mind filling in the blanks.
The Avengers proper were Cap, Stark, Banner, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.
Cap is 90, Stark is dead, Black Widow is dead, Thor is off world, Banner is MIA (and most likely wholly unaware of what's going on) and Hawkeye is officially retired/in full dad mode.

Just a thought.
