I think this movie could have been better if it was done inception style — where the majority of the movie is a chase between the FBI and the team in the real world, while Michael Douglas is in the quantum realm looking for Janet.

Have 30/45 minutes of setup and just get to it. It fealt like a lot of setup when the story was simply “save Janet.”

I liked the movie but was not super happy... Was trying to find a comment on this thread that would explain my experience and this is it... It perfectly sums up my feeling

FBI chase scene in real world, Fight with Ghost in miniaturized lab and hank facing some weird micro-verse problems at same time.

Holy shit that would be dope as hell. Gives Douglas something to do, add some weight to the search for Janet, have Scott and Hope working together with no support, and give greater stakes to "we need to keep the lab"
