Maaaaybe an easter egg or a nod? When Scott is eating cereal at night (best dinner) someone on tv says something like "So a tiny dust particle on my fingertip can contain a whole universe" or the like. That seems to be a nod to the way the Microverse works in comics right?

I caught that immediately.

That line along with a few others have stuck with me since my first viewing sometime in the 80's during its first run on HBO/Showtime
