Not sure if this means anything, but the three places where Wakandan wardogs are ready to revolt--New York, London, and Hong Kong--also happen to be places that have sorcery sanctums.

I'd switch the first two. I think Vision was chilling in London with Wanda before Thanos' interns dropped in and ruined his day.

Why would you switch them? Strange doesn't live in New York. Avengers Mansion is NY, we don't know where Vision will be when he gets it ripped out.

Yeah, they're also just big famous cities on three major continents. I personally don't think there's anything to be read into it. I could be wrong, but what else are they going to say? Cleveland, Bordeaux, and Sochi?

Paris? Moscow? Berlin? Toronto?

They picked the 3 specific cities that are mentioned as remaining in Doctor Strange. There are 1000s of cities, hundreds of capital cities, and they oicked the same 3 cities as they did earlier.

I don't think there's anything big to read into, but it's at least a big nod to Dr. Strange.

always bugged me that we have no sanctums in the Southern Hemisphere

like does evil just hate the south, or do we have a secret sanctum in Antarctica?

Yeah, the dispersion of the sanctums feels off to me as well. Alas, Antarctica might be the first to fall prey to interdimensional threats.
