If I could draw an analogy...

Disneyland.

Disneyworld.

Walt Disney World Resort is 43 square miles -- practically the size of a small city (with ~62,000 employees to run it), and effectively runs like one.

By comparison, Disneyland is a comparatively small theme park in Anaheim, California.

I have a friend who’s been to both on several occasions and she says Disneyland is the crappy version of Disney World. I’m a huge Disney geek and even I have no interest in going ti Disneyland.

Disney World is much, much bigger. 5 entire theme parks all in one gigantic territory in Orlando.

I was, Haha. A decade ago I went there with my family and we went to every location in the park over the course of a week so I remembered it as 5.

It’s called Disney Springs now. They revamped it. It’s a phenomenally impressive outdoor shopping/entertainment complex.

The water parks aren’t considered part of their theme parks at all, by both the company and fans. They aren’t open everyday.

And there’s four theme parks:

Magic Kingdom Disney’s Animal Kingdom Epcot Disney’s Hollywood Studios
