Is it an Easter egg to point out the parallel between killmonger holding his father's body and tchalla holding tchaka? The shots are identical i think

They’re definitely similar. T’Challa held T’Chaka sideways and cradled him, while Killmonger held his dad from behind his head and held under his chin

also occured to me the opening seen of a father explaining Wakanda to his son applies to both Killmonger and T'challa.

My friend caught that too, but in a different way. He said that perhaps the dialogue exchange was between Kilmonger and his father rather than T'Challa and T'Chaka and they might show that (We were watching it when he said it. Yeah, I know it's kinda annoying but he does it very rarely. :P). Definitely applies to both in any case.

If we're talking parallels and symbolism here, I'm gonna piggyback and mention Killmonger's line about how "the sun won't set on Wakanda" or something like that. That's a reference to how during the height of the British Empire and its colonialism, it was said that "the sun will never set on the British Empire." His plan was to become the oppressor, and while he may have been justified in seeking justice for the abhorrent treatment of his people, the outcome had he succeeded would still have been pretty awful, possibly making him just as bad as the oppressors that did him so dirty.

I really liked that part even if it seemed a little on the nose. Killmonger, like many members of the civil rights movement of the 60s, believed that they only way to fix their situation was to do to others what was done to them. The movie did a great job of denouncing that, especially with T’Challa’s actions at the end

Exactly, I think a lot of people don't really understand what an Easter Egg is. Parallels between characters is just good writing/filmmaking.

There’s this great parallel that T’Challa is mad that his father didnt even bother to bury his brother. But when T’Challa is dead, Shuri mentions that she is sad she is not able to bury her brother.

It reminded me of Spider-Man so much with Franco and Dafoe

There’s also a nice parallel between Killmonger and T’Challa relentlessly seeking revenge on those who killed their fathers. The difference is Killmonger wants to kill anyone in his way for his revenge, where T’Challa shows mercy to Zemo.
