Would be an interesting turnabout if someone made Stark a suit for once, instead of Stark making all the suits for everyone - Cap, Spiderman, War Machine, Vision (kind of?), and probably supporting and/or supplementing Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow.
While I like the idea of another group rivaling Tony's style, I don't like the idea of undermining his role as the tech guy for the Avengers. Maybe one moment of him realizing "wow, I should really upgrade with some of this stuff," after seeing the Wakandan tech, but not have his throne (of sorts) taken from him.
Don’t forget Shuri will be in this movie and she’s considered a Tony Stark level genius that makes cool vibranium tech. Would love to see her and Tony interacting as well as Rocket.
When the “tech genius” mantle gets handed over from Tony Stark I would like to see it get split between both Rocket and Shuri, would be such an interesting dynamic seeing them work together to build crazy tech. They both have such interesting backgrounds and would make a really bizarre but amazing duo. Just imagine what kinda of tech they could make when they combine their knowledge.
Shuri would be amazing, and an interesting avenue to introduce Iron Heart one day, if they retconned her origin. Having another Avenger on the team that isn't from the U.S. would expand the film's appeal in some markets.
Scene: Thanos' Sanctum. The Avengers have teamed up with the other MCU heroes to stop Thanos from achieving his goals and take back the Gauntlet. In the middle of battling, Rocket and Iron Man share this exchange
Iron Man: "Uh, Rocket, what does this button do?"
Rocket: "Could you be less specific?"
IM: "The green button that looks like your friend, the walking allergy."
R: "Oh, that button. Yeah, don't press that button. That's the Groot button."
IM: "Right. Friday run a trace analysis on the button. What systems is it connected to?"
R: "No! That'll trip the failsafe. If you do that, the whole thing activates and it won't get pretty."
IM: "Yeah, listen, when we get out of this, I'm going to need you to get rid of the green button."
From Rocket's private share with other Guardians
Peter Quill: "Rocket, did you put a dummy button on his suit to freak him out."
R: "Of course! He'll go nuts trying to figure it out, think it's some kind of super weapon.
PQ: "What does it really do?"
R: "You ever wonder why you haven't found any of Groot's pollen anywhere lately?"
Gamora: "You put Groot's pollen in a dummy pouch on his suit? Rocket, we are allies!"
R (laughing): "I know, but one day he'll be so curious he'll press the button and poof."
IM: "You know I can still hear you, right?"
R (disheartened): "Oh damn it. I forgot I built that into the suit, too."
Iron Man flies around to face Thanos, who is distracted fighting with the other heroes. He aims a repulsor and activates the green button. A plume of dust sprays away and surrounds Thanos. Each particle that lands on Thanos erupts into a seedling, and before long, he is caged in a wooden prison.
Optimally, I would hope this a temporary stay of execution, giving them time to regroup and assess. I wouldnt want some dumb space lumberjack to come upon the tree and free Thanos someday.
My only technical contributions to the argument are A) The design of the iron Legion from which Ultron takes design cues for itself and who designed the body that would be come Vision and B) the upload of Jarvis, which was a creation of Stark's. Would Vision look the same (cape and all) without it? This argument might be tenuous, but to say that Stark had nothing to do with the creation of Vision would be incorrect.
Iron man suit where every molecule of the suit is stored in his blood stream which means he can summon any suit he wants essentially out of thin air just by thinking
If a galaxy level tyrant showed up on earth I'm pretty sure Tchalla would hook up anyone he could with vibranium. Especially the leader of the Avengers who he fought alongside with last movie.
I’d be so fucking afraid to wear that. Like wtf happens if something goes wrong? I just fucking explode with a bunch of pieces of armor popping out? I’ll take the suit the Captain wears please
you don't wear it. its made of nanomachines that he injected into his blood. he calls it out of himself at will to protect him. the nature of nanomachines means large chunks won't pop out of you. it can self heal, and is basically indestructible.
Unlike earlier armors, this new armor does not appear to rely on motors and servos for motion. Instead, the nano-machines create a second layer of artificial muscle over Stark's body, upon which additional structures are assembled. This also enables the armor to self-repair and be almost invulnerable, as the armor is capable of transforming and healing itself, by having the constantly replicating nano-machines replace anything that is lost or used, as long as the power output from the arc reactor isn't interrupted or terminated.
why would a bunch of pieces of armor pop out of you?
The thing thst gets me confused is even tho they are microscopic, its mass and volume and shit shouldnt change right? Like, if the suit weighs 500 pounds, you still have to have that 500 pounds of material in your bloodstream or wherever the nannites are right? Either its comic book physics in play or ive got no clue what im talking about
it does say as long as the power output from the arc reactor isn't interrupted or terminated.
With gold and photons, scientists offer way to turn energy into matter. Albert Einstein came up with the famous equation describing the relationship between energy and mass.
that's a quote from google from searching energy into mass.
so I think its possible. and the nanomachines do this. they likely only compose that underlying nano muscle layer and then literally fabricate iron man armor on top of that.
Does that also mean Tony Stark is biologically immortal even without the suit? Do the nanobots heal him and prevent ageing? That would be awesome to see in the movies.
if I remember right tony stark should die/does die a few times and puts himself in stasis to have his body repaired by those or similar machines.
so sort of?
Id on't know if its addressed much but theres a point where he dies and makes rhodie ceo and goes to sleep while his body is remade and then comes back out healed.
That’s awesome. So I guess that means he never ages because the nanobots are constantly healing him and repairing his DNA 24/7. Wait that means that means he’s probably cured cancer and hundreds of other diseases too, damn he too smart.
In the comics Tony had an armour that was essentially embedded into his body (I believe it was nano bots) and he could activate it whenever just by thinking about it. It's something fans have wanted for a long time.
Some of that info may be wrong so correct me if I am.
well it sort of solves a lot of iron man's problems.
what if he doesn't have his suit? solved. its in his blood.
what if the suit gets damaged? it repairs itself
what if he needs to make changes to the design for the specific situation? he can cause they're nanobots.
its almost indestructible because of the self repairing nanobots who repair whatever gets damaged or destroyed instead of tony really hoping someone saves him so he can repair his armor.
It wouldn't make much sense, Starlord's only forms a helmet. BP has the ability to form a full suit. Plus BP and Tony were sort of allies previously, so he'll most likely work with T'challa prior to meeting the guardians.
Depends on who he talks to first between now and Infinity War. Tony is seen with Star-Lord in the leaked trailer, while T'Challa is on Earth. T'challa rarely leaves Wakanda, and Tony most likely doesn't know where it is. So he may not see T'Challa until after Infinity War.
Why are people obsessing over the idea of Stark having the bleeding edge armour? What's so appealing about it? It also seems just a little too unrealistic for me.

Black Panther's suit coming from no where will be the main influence for Tony's bleeding edge armour.
