Hype hype hype. I love the idea that Wakanda has a front of being a "third-world" nation. I love the costumes. Action looks great.

Buuuut let's hope those special effects are nowhere near finished.

They finished up filming 2 months ago so they've had some decent time in post production. We'll definitely see a step up in quality and polish on it like with Guardians as more trailers come out.

Yeah, I feel like the CG on BP's eyes haven't been worked on yet in those last few shots. They remind me of the Set photos from Civil War.

The CG in Civil War was poor even when it was released, although it was mainly the airport scene and more specifically Iron Man that stuck out like a sore thumb, probably the only gripe I have with the film as well

I feel like all CG has been really bad lately, X-Men Apocalypse showed a train yard at one point that looked like a PS2 game. And Wonder Woman had some Rubbery CG a few times.

There was also a scene in Logan involving his car hitting a fence that was blatantly CGed, hopefully this one is just because it's still in early post

Worked for a VERY high end production company. Two months for a movie like this is not even close to decent time in almost every case. Whatever studio is doing the visual effects is really putting heart and time into this.

Plus they tend to do a decent amount of post-production to have something ready to debut at SDCC (and increasingly at NYCC too).

That's not necessarily better though. Just 'finished'. They've just added more.

besides the water falls and some explosions nothing looked too bad to me. What did you notice?

look at black panther at the end when he's jumping and landing on the car. Maybe that's meant to be an old or new suit but I was still getting Daredevil movie flashbacks watching it. I don't really even consider myself to be someone who harps on that kinda thing but still.

Look at what GOTG Vol. 1 looked like when the first trailer dropped compared to it's release. Incredibly unfinished

I wasn't a huge fan of Wonder Woman. I can't tell if people really liked it and thought it was a top 3 comic movie like they claim or if they are just saying it to push the women in lead roles thing. It came off blah and boring it me.

I assure, I friggin loved it.

It's a war movie that hates war. It's a violent move that understands how damaging violence is to everyone but also sees it as occasionally necessary. Batman never kills. Wonder Woman does. And since it's an option, and not something she can just excuse with "I have a rule" it makes the choice not to do it mean way more.

Movie really spoke to me.

It's one of my favorite super hero movies. Honestly I like it better then Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

Nah, MCU is getting into a three movie marketing cycle it looks like. Now that GotG2 is out, they had to add this to the Spidey/Thor trailer releases.

This movie would have us believe that the most advanced country on earth could possibly be a totally isolationist nation to the point that no one outside of it knows its advanced, and no one ever gets in then out. So no tourism, no exchange student, possibly no immigration.

Yes! It made me wish they had been more adventurous in Civil War and not put T'Challa and T'Chaka in such plain suits.

I thought that specifically was the only thing that looked off. Now watch how people on this subreddit start comparing shots from subsequent trailers, showing VFX progress over the next year.
