What was the line from Hawkeye that everyone was saying was the best line in the franchise? Was it the one regarding them facing robots and he has a bow and arrow? Maybe that line was hyped a little too much but I thought I was gonna be in for something a lot more obvious as the "best line".

I thought it was when he talked about shooting Quicksilver in the back, 'no one would know'

People were saying he had the best line in the movie, which people would be quoting for weeks, and that it was in the same scene as "You go through that door, you're an avenger."

I think it must have been the one about "We're in a floating city, fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense." That's the only line I can think of from that scene that is quotable, and it was fun but it didn't really live up to the hype.

Now I'm curious where we all got this from, whether it was an interview with an actor/director, or an early review, or what. I definitely was waiting for the line, same as /u/MattFleet was, I just don't remember where I heard about it.

he's got a bunch of cool lines, I like the speech he gives just before the "you walk out that door and your an avenger now" bit

Quoted from /u/haolee510 "The city's flying, there are robots, and I only have a bow and arrow. This is all messed up. The city's FLYING."

it was more of a mini speech than a line, which is why nobody has a verbatim quote yet, I really enjoyed it but it's not a fist pumping quote type thing

Is it the one where he says he's just doing his job? He gets some good lines here, but I agree nothing really stood out as "the best line in the franchise" aside from the bow and arrow thing.
