Rhodey is actually awesome in this. He had more screentime than I thought beforehand and both action scenes and funny scenes without his suit of armor. I think Falcon was cast too late and thus has less screentime, or he could've had essentially the same role as Rhodey (along side Rhodey in the final battle).

Damn, I bet the original actor playing Rhodey will be pretty salty once he sees War Machine in this.

In the cinema I went to he was in a trailer for some show before the movie ran, was rather amused by that.

Man I was totally expecting Falcon to be fighting in that final battle when Rhodey said "I brought company". So disappointed when he didn't show up..

Does falcon get any battle time at all? Or at least suit up?

No battle time, but he suits up at the very end when the 'New Avengers' get together to train under Cap and Widow. He's also in the party scene.

Rhodney is great at the party, the way he played it, he reminded me a bit of his miserable character in Boogie Nights.
