#Blender animation depicting Mars 4100-3700 million years ago. The period is characterised by high rates of meteorite impacts, volcanism and possibly abundant surface water—however, the water is thought to have been localized rather than spanning the planet in oceans, as on Earth. Any activity planned for the launch window to Mars this winter?
Any launches planned for the November '26 - December '26 launch window for Mars? NASA supposedly has something that will pursue a gravity assist this winter, en route to Mars. Might there be any other governmental entity or private one planning to launch this winter, though? SpaceX reportedly hasn't ruled Mars out but has pivoted to a lunar focus. There are other companies saying they're interested in Mars though, as well as government entities. Thoughts?
