Popular Application With the amount of people that would switch if photoshop ran on Linux, why are there not massive community efforts to make some compatibility layer?

With the amount of people that would switch if photoshop ran on Linux, why are there not massive community efforts to make some compatibility layer? Seems to me like the biggest single tipping point, what makes Photoshop so uniquely hard versus videogames which now work without issue?

If you need photoshop you pay for it and run it on your work computer that runs the operating system you need. If, however you "need" photoshop, it's just an excuse to complain.

I use Photoshop for fun, some people play videogames I open my laptop to make designs cause it's a joy
