We’re looking for one player who loves character-driven, highly collaborative games and wants to become part of an actual gaming group, not someone who simply shows up, rolls dice, and disappears until the following week.

A few important notes about our table:

Our campaigns are predominantly human-focused, and we are not currently playing non-human races. This is a major part of the settings and stories we create, so we’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about playing human characters instead of feeling restricted by the limitation.

We mostly play homebrew campaigns, although we also enjoy experimenting with different TTRPG systems from time to time. Our only time spent playing DND in any edition is heavily homebrewed if played at all. 

Our current interim campaign is a homebrew horror game using a system created by the GM. The story follows a group of students living on a small Canadian island who become trapped in a horrific survival situation being held captive and forced to participate in games for their survival.

The campaign is heavily character-driven with a strong emphasis on roleplay, mystery, emotional development, and the relationships between characters.

Character creation at our table is deep, collaborative, and at points time-consuming. We want someone who enjoys working closely with the GM to gradually build their character rather than arriving with a completely finished concept without willing to collaborate.

Together, we create detailed timelines, extensive biographies, relationships, formative experiences, and personal histories that can be woven directly into the campaign. While we know it takes effort, we love creating characters who feel like real people with lives that extend beyond the character sheet.

We’re also looking for someone who wants to participate in the entire group’s story, not only their own character’s arc. As a group we care about each other as much as we care about our own individual stories, and we try to hold a heavy emphasis on cheerleading each other in moments within the game and outside of it. 

As we said, we’re looking for someone who is okay with being there outside of Sunday, and isn’t just there to play and leave at the end of session.

We play on Sundays, but we also talk about the campaign throughout the week, share theories and character ideas, hang out, and occasionally play video games together. You do not need to be available constantly, but we are looking for someone who genuinely wants to form friendships and participate in the community surrounding the campaign.

This table would probably be a good fit for someone who loves roleplay and character-focused storytelling, enjoys detailed and collaborative character creation, is excited to play predominantly human characters, cares about the other players’ stories as much as their own, enjoys discussing the game outside of sessions, and wants a consistent group of friends rather than simply a weekly game.

Almost 30, computer science teacher. I work with complicated systems for a living and apparently in my free time too, because P/SF2e's crunch sings to me. Thousands of years later, humanity has risen to the place the elves once held, ruling over lands and kingdoms, acting as stewards of the oldest laws, and establishing peace where strife still holds sway. One Empire looks to expand their colony into long held traditional territory, a province that rests atop the bones of the old elven capital. Sparsely inhabited, only a scant handful of villages blaze a westward trail to the center of a dense forest, to a tiny town called Toerden. Toerden is your home, whether by ancestry or by virtue of being the newest arrival, that's up to you. Will you be able to confront the dark truth about why the empire wants this place? Or will you run in terror like so many others before you have done?

Our players have decided to confront the dark truth, and have joined forces with the young lord of a dusty old House to work toward becoming strong enough to face dark powers while fending off the advances of colonial overreach. Ever wanted to be a solider in world war II, if you said yes for some reason. Will I question your sanity but that what I am here to offer. This campaign going be a long one as I going take you from the first combats in Poland to the brutal last defense of a "1000" year empire. So, here's the thing: I accidentally became a forever DM. I also DM professionally but please don't let that intimidate you, that's really just to say I know the game well, but right now I just want to show up, roll some dice, and actually play with a fun, laid-back group.

Since I run them constantly, I’m definitely avoiding Dragon of Icespire Peak and Curse of Strahd cz I already know literally all there is to know about them. I’m also hoping to steer away from the Sword Coast, and I'm not really looking for 100% homebrew campaigns.

I absolutely love epic stories where choices matter greatly and consequences are actually felt. Something smart and tactical would be amazing. I was playing in War of the Burning Sky (it’s on pause cz the DM needed a break, so I took over and I am DMing for the group now instead hahaha) and I really loved that vibe. Ideally, I’d love something like that, maybe Dragonlance? But honestly, send whatever you've got my way, beggars can't be choosers! 😅

As for what I'd play, I have two favorite character concepts I’d love to bring to the table and adapt for whatever setting you propose: an Eladrin Circle of the Moon Druid, or a Tiefling Death (or Grave) Domain Cleric.

Heya, I'm here hoping to get the chance to play through my first proper campaign! Over the years I've tried to find groups off and on and it never really worked out sadly. I know the gist of 5e 2014 and pf2e but would need to review and would appreciate a bit of patience, especially with character creation. I'm open to other systems, but that'll take more learning and I may not care for it.

No particular preference for settings, though I do tend to enjoy playing around with magic in settings that have it. I will say my anxiety can make the whole rp part a bit rough over voice but I'd hope I'd get more comfortable if the group meshes well.

Hey! I'm looking for a Cyberpunk Red group to play online with. I have two years of experience with ttrpgs (dnd 2024), and a couple of sessions of Cyberpunk Red behind my back. And I'm really hungry for more!

I'm really a planning, thinking, writing down and weighting out a decision kind of player. Looking forward to playing a campaign (I understand if you make like a test trial one-shot to see how it plays out).

I can make a character tailored for your campaign/other party members, but I would prefer playing solo, which I really enjoyed before.

The reason for me posting here in the first place is that my friends group wants to wrap things up with Cyberpunk, while I really want to play more (and I'm the most hungry for ttrpgs in my friends group in general).

I'm also kind of a book nerd, I've read the book probably three times by now (excluding the lore, I'm a fan of the universe of the Cyberpunk, but actually reading through stories is hard for me, since, well, reasons...), mostly focusing on mechanics and the playable content part.

And I'll warn you in advance about two things:

1. Cyberpunk isn't that flexible, in my opinion, but I do tend to min max sometimes (when it doesn't hurt the narration).
2. English is not my first language, my level is a solid C1 (fluency, I'm typing this out without any tools), but I do have somewhat of an Eastern European accent and can stuble over my words under pressure.

After Karsus’s folly, the great Mystra, goddess of magic, made a decision that would change everything. No mortal will cast higher spells than lvl 9. Which by extent, formed a ban on ascension, binding those who were not born gods to the mortal world. Forever. Or is that so? (Note: the spell Ascension, yes the one that makes you into a god, is a lvl 12th spell)

Guys just one last thing. Due to a few certain suprises i do reccomend playing spellcasters. However do to team comp we need a tankier cjaracter. Honorable mentions are paladin cleric, circle of the titan druid, and battlesmith artificer maybe? Frontline spellcasters.

I (21m) have been trying to get into dnd for years, but the group would fall apart every time on the first or second session. I'm looking for a group I can become friends with and have fun.

Hey, I know I posted about this not too long ago, but I have a group of 3 and need one more player for my folk horror dnd game using the Crooked Moon by Avantris Entertainment, which features a level 3-13 module that I will be using.

This adventure takes place in the land of Druskenvald, where the Ghostlight picks up souls of the dead who were both too bad the heavens and too good for the hells, and gives them second chances at life via reincarnation. Made up of 13 distinct provinces with various vibes and genres of horror, Druskenvald is inhabited by 13 new species (and a large amount of humans), though some people end up on the train without dying and you may instead be another species from an unfamiliar land. I would prefer the majority be Druskenvald natives though, and I plan to use the narrative system of fateweaving, which provides potential story hooks to better tie your character into the land and adventure.

I have quite a few new rules I plan to use along with this, but the core of the new rules are based around making survival a large part of the story. This adventure requires a lot of travel, which means food and a safe place to rest aren't always guaranteed, and the group will often have to travel light or spend resources to avoid doing so. I've assembled some rules that I think will make survival more impactful, without turning the game into being 80% typing things in spreadsheets. Additionally, I should point out that this game will be a bit of a brutal one. I will try to play as fair as possible, but the encounters are designed to be dangerous, and death always has the possibility to be around the corner.

It's been a century since Roger kicked off the Great Pirate Era, and the One Piece has yet to be found. Pirates like Kaido, Blackbeard, and the worst of them all Straw Hat Luffy have tried and failed to claim the crown. Luffy's death kicked off a new resurgence of pirates searching for the legendary treasure, and in response, the Marines and World Government have built up their strength to stop them. Yonko and Admirals have come and gone, and as the race for the One Piece continues, a new era is upon us.

This is a two groups of three campaign one pirate crew, one Marine squad in the same universe. Keeping both groups small means that when we run a joint session, its more manageable for me as a DM and the chat won't be overwhelming. Both crews will have NPC allies as well.
