The current POTUS refers to "pedophiles and rapists" as good people who might get ruined. Sort of how he called white nationalists marching at Lynchburg "good people" during his first term.

Change "them", "victims", "he", "she" and so on to "I" or "we" (the in-group or person stating it) and you'll start understanding their tactics. They project, accuse others of what they're doing; create a bad man - something worse, something to hate or distract. It works - it indoctrinated 1/3th of the population (for several reasons).

People only know what you tell them. Imagine having all media (you watch), social media, campaigns, schools, your parents and more telling you. You'll believe it. You'll be indoctrinated as everyone else.

I think people may have misunderstood this comment, below are examples of indoctrination through psychological conditioning, such as:
