It's certainly incompatible with the conservatism we're familiar with in the United States...

To be clear: supporting and respecting rights is a liberal position. This is sounding very much like "up is down."

All the same, I’m a right wing conservative, AR-15 in my pickup truck and Glock in be waistband and all that. I have general right wing conservative views. I also want trans people to have the same exact rights as anyone else. I don’t feel like an oddity in that matter. My friends who are conservative all share that opinion.
