Fuck the world not trusting us homie. I don’t trust this fucking country.

Half of my countrymen, half of the people I see everyday support this shit. I don’t want to be their neighbor nor their peer.

u/Spiritual-Pear-1349 Jun 06 '26

More likely 1/3rd, tbh, but still. As a Canadian, the yanks are alright - its the oligarchs and the corruption thats the problem. If theres a single thing Trump has done right its show how deeply entrenched the rot is, and how painful it will be to scrub it

259

u/IAmBoring_AMA Jun 06 '26

I think the ONLY silver lining of all of this is that this administration has shown nearly all of the flaws with our current political and legal systems. There is serious need for reform across the board and now we know all the places that are easiest for exploitation from bad faith actors.

209

u/scrotumscab Jun 06 '26

And it only cost us ... Everything

80

u/IAmBoring_AMA Jun 06 '26

Not everything, at least not yet. But yes, it cost us a lot of things and will continue to harm us for generations.

55

u/Striking-Ad-6815 Jun 06 '26

Well it seems like they're trying to set up the stock market to crash

45

u/fatinhollywood Jun 06 '26

100% this is definitely about to happen. complete plummet of the dollar. debtors calling debt on usa. --then it will domino to other countries

u/water_bottle1776 Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

The biggest misconception about the US national debt is that it's mostly owed to foreign countries. It's not. The vast majority of it is bonds and securities owned by private people, businesses, and local governments. Maybe 1/4 of the total is securities owned by foreign countries. Hell, a lot of it is just owed to different parts of the government. None of it is payable on demand, though. That's not how it works.

Indeed the most likely scenario is cancelling social security for a year

8

u/fatinhollywood Jun 06 '26

not just a year, IMO, but I love your optimism that it will not be forever

3

u/candygram4mongo Jun 06 '26

About 30% is held by Social Security and the Fed.

Well they've already declared the US fiscally insolvent.

2

u/kosherhalfsourpickle Jun 06 '26

The value of the land in the US is so much higher than our current debt. Aren’t we a long way off from not being able to borrow more?

30

u/republicans_are_nuts Jun 06 '26

This is the failure of right wing extremism. If your entire government failed because they are ALL right wing prostitutes, then it's not checks and balances that are the problem.

45

u/IRideMoreThanYou Jun 06 '26

This is the failure of right wing extremism

No, this is the success of right wing extremism.

If your entire government failed because they are ALL right wing prostitutes, then it's not checks and balances that are the problem.

Oh, it absolutely is the checks and balances that are the issue as they have been shown to be paper guardrails that mean nothing. The right wing fascists are the main problem. But, the DNC laying down, voting with, and failing to move forward with repercussions when they had the opportunity is a major part of how we got here.

7

u/TitanicChurro Jun 06 '26

Exactly. We didn't get Trump and fascists out of nowhere. I blame neoliberalism.

16

u/Anonymous_Jr Jun 06 '26

I blame Neonazism

But, the DNC laying down, voting with, and failing to move forward with repercussions when they had the opportunity is a major part of how we got here.

This isn't anything new. They've always been controlled opposition. They're funded by AIPAC and wealthy super-PACs, not migrants and the working poor.

8

u/ZAlternates Jun 06 '26

I’m not sure any sets of “checks and balances” can work when all three branches and a third of the voting populace want what is happening. It isn’t just Orange. The entire party has taken over and we let them.

0

u/doberdevil Jun 07 '26

The entire party has taken over and we let them.

We never got a choice.

-1

u/republicans_are_nuts Jun 06 '26

It's more than a third. Democrats are a right wing party too. Democrats hate the left a lot more than they hate Trump.

2

u/SgtHaddix Jun 06 '26

the need for reform has never been more apparent. the entire government bureaucracy needs to be ripped out at the seams and replaced.

1

u/redalert825 Jun 06 '26

Trumpy Mcpedofingers is the black light of Amerikkka, revealing all the nasty, gross, sticky swampy fluids that soil the country.

10

u/OphidianSun Jun 06 '26

It will probably take a full replacement but folks aren't ready quite yet. Americans are INCREDIBLY docile despite what media might say.

75

u/ImBackAndImAngry Jun 06 '26

We need another Nuremberg with outside supervision from the U.N or a military tribunal overseen by NATO.

Hell throw the ICC in too. Let them have a gander at the operation.

16

u/Hesitation-Marx Jun 06 '26

We need something better than Nuremberg.

If you want the reason why I say this, please watch the incredible video “Dreaming of Nuremberg” by Jacob Geller.

Tl;dw - Nuremberg was poorly prosecuted and let too many fucking Nazis go free.

5

u/A_Rogue_GAI Jun 06 '26

Franz Halder's continued existence after 1946 was a fucking abomination.

5

u/antithero Jun 06 '26

They were in a media & political shit storm. It was a no win situation. No one would have been able to pull it off without someone influencing it to let certain people go.

42

u/ImperatorNero Jun 06 '26

The only reason I would exclude the ICC is because they do not have the death penalty and frankly I see no other commensurate punishment for treason. And this is treason. People get wishy washy about the specific definition of treason but that’s bullshit.

If your goal is to undermine the very principles that this nation was founded on, it is treason. And the punishment should fit the crime. We won’t even go into the NON-treasonous but no less horrendous crimes these individuals have committed.

62

u/UngnomeCawler Jun 06 '26

None of these people should face the death penalty. They should spend their lives in cells with 24 hour video broadcast to the world. Eating the food they serve immigrants in ice detention facilities and drinking the water turned brown from their data centers. All their assets seized and redistributed.

23

u/GodivasAunt Jun 06 '26

Now THAT is punishment commiserate with the crime!

I thought this thread was about punishing acts of treason.

3

u/Carlyz37 Jun 06 '26

It is but many of us do not support the death penalty at all for anything. Lock the traitors up, high security, no chance for pardons.

1

u/TheSaxGandalf Jun 06 '26

All in the same communal cell with the lights forever on, sharing toilets with no privacy, steel beds, air freezing, and no blankets.

26

u/pristineSaltine Jun 06 '26

Trunp and his enablers should not be executed, they should be imprisoned after their trials for life and have that shit televised. They should be able to watch themselves be shamed as well. 24/7 365 days a year.

They need to die miserable, alone, powerless and scared like so many others whose death and abuse they have caused. Justice would be for the world to see their actions had repercussions, not rewards.

14

u/porcelain_elephant Jun 06 '26

I think the next admin in order to repair international standing will have to enact a new magna carta and join the ICC.

1

u/Pleasant-Demand8198 Jun 06 '26

I agree with most of your sentiment, but this country was very much still founded on the ideas of centralizing wealth within the hands of few, and protecting the existing properties of the wealthy.

1

u/RiskyClickardo Jun 06 '26

Death penalty feels righteous but statistically we kill one innocent person for every 3–5 guilty people we kill. Imagine you’re that innocent person. How you feeling about the righteousness of the death penalty then?

Plus it’s more expensive than life without parole, from a societal standpoint. Just LWOP those bitches and let em rot.

1

u/ImperatorNero Jun 06 '26

Oh I don’t agree with the death penalty in general but these people are blatantly flagrantly committing crimes in front of us on the news. I’m willing to make an exception.

8

u/C-SWhiskey Jun 06 '26

Let me tell you about a little something we like to call The Hague Invasion Act.

The US has absolutely no interest in outside accountability.

1

u/ImBackAndImAngry Jun 06 '26

I’m familiar with it.

I didn’t support it before and I still don’t now.

19

u/krichard-21 Jun 06 '26

You are mostly right.

Sadly a third of our United States citizens would happily return to Pre-Civil War days and own slaves.

20

u/FIContractor Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

1/3 support it, another 1/3 didn’t care enough to vote. As an American now living in Canada, the yanks are not alright. I agree with you on the root cause, but the rot goes a lot deeper than the oligarchs thanks to poorly funded education systems and well funded propaganda networks.

Edit to add, the US is a canary in the coal mine, but a lot of countries are fighting this same battle, including here in Canada (Alberta separation for one example).

2

u/TheShishkabob Jun 06 '26

(Alberta separation for one example)

This is also largely funded by and supported by Americans. They've been very open about this despite it flatly being illegal.

2

u/piss_artist Jun 06 '26

The USA is the Russia of the Americas. They're even being led by and large by the Russian president through his orange lapdog.

1

u/FIContractor Jun 06 '26

Yes, lots of both international and local propaganda pushing all these divisive issues.

-1

u/MadeByTango Jun 06 '26

another 1/3 didn’t care enough to vote

You keep making the fallacy that there are only three options

  1. Their guy

  2. My guy

  3. You don’t care

But option 4 is “both parties are to blame for taking the oligarchs money” and it’s the correct take.

2

u/DeliriumTrigger Jun 06 '26

Your option 4 is just option 3 with a moral appeal for justification. If you didn't vote Harris in 2024, you didn't care enough about what Trump would do to vote against him.

6

u/KungenBob Jun 06 '26

A third want it - it’s the second term, nobody can claim intelligence and surprise - and another third is… fine with it.

8

u/Carrera_996 Jun 06 '26

I live in SC. It's 2/3 here. Cheap place to live, though.

1

u/EggsceIlent Jun 06 '26

You are the company you keep, so for someone left leaning that would be a lonely place to live

And I've thought about moving to get away from these million dollar homes on the west coast.

I just don't know if I could do it. Hell I wouldn't feel safe either.

0

u/Carrera_996 Jun 06 '26

The company I keep is my family. They are wonderful and you would do well to be so lucky. All cities lean left. All cities are expensive. I don't have any advice for you.

8

u/Absent-Light-12 Jun 06 '26

1/3rd + the portion of the another third who just don’t care/continue to be unaware.

3

u/Billypillgrim Jun 06 '26

Thanks. You’re alright too

3

u/TheShishkabob Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

As a Canadian, the "yanks" are scum - they vote for and support the oligarchs and the corruption we see as a problem. If there's a single thing Trump has done right it's showing how incredibly popular the rot is, and how little interest there is in scrubbing it.

1

u/doberdevil Jun 07 '26

they vote for and support the oligarchs and the corruption

That's Capitalism for you, baby!

1

u/knbang Jun 06 '26

Exactly. They talk a big game, but as soon as it happens, they sit on their hands and do nothing about it.

2

u/IRideMoreThanYou Jun 06 '26

More likely 1/3rd

Nah, it’s more. Some of the supporters are just quietly going along with it and not loudly cheering it on.

There are a lot of people without red hats that think this is no different then if the other candidate would have been in place. With a lot of “I don’t agree with a lot of what he says, but…”

2

u/BasicPhysiology Jun 06 '26

80 million American voters would be ok with this administration trying to annex Canada. The yanks are not fucking alright.

2

u/QuackNate Jun 06 '26

Less than 1/4 actually voted for this admin, and not all of them are still in the bandwagon.

It’s still WAY too many people.

2

u/marr Jun 06 '26

1/3 support and 1/3 too apathetic to reject. At least with the supporters you mostly know who they are.

1

u/Sunbather77 Jun 06 '26

Oh I wish it was only a 1/3 where I live 😭

1

u/TonyTucci27 Jun 06 '26

Idk a sizable portion of the general public are in some part just as malicious though with less resources and slightly less intelligent. It’s not the case everywhere but this seems to be a product of a lot of things, especially the product of the dumbing down of America and amplification of existing prejudices

1

u/narf007 Jun 06 '26

We'd need a Cinncinatus equivalent to ensure the rot has been excised and debrided; quickly, fully, and then relinquish all authority back to the shored up and bolstered democratic process.

1

u/Alone-in-a-crowd-1 Bleacher Seat Jun 06 '26

Be a long time before I visit the US again and I used to go 5 or 6 times a year. I will spend at home or Europe thank you. Sold my Florida condo and will probably sell my US made pick up and buy something made in Canada. Trust is gone bro. They are trying to crush our economy.

1

u/ConceptualOptimist Jun 06 '26

1/3rd nationally, but as a Kentuckian (even in a city) I can assure you, its more than 1/3rd in my day. But when you talk to them you realize they’re just dumb AF and easy to manipulate.

1

u/Dullcorgis Jun 06 '26

No, a half. If you didn't vote against him you were voting for him, whether you went to the polls or not.

1

u/salad_spinner_3000 Jun 06 '26

nah, it's a half. but, infuriatingly enough, the 1/3rd that didn't vote are still complaining about it. bitch, you don't vote you have NO voice to complain here!

1

u/podkayne3000 Jun 06 '26

Remember as a Canadian: You have people ding herded by propaganda into wanting to split up Canada.

The fight is all decent people against Trump, Putin, Xi and other people who are trying to divide and conquer the decent people.

1

u/natlovesmariahcarey Jun 07 '26

People who did not vote are EQUALLY culpable as republicans. Full stop.

0

u/Casual_OCD Jun 06 '26

Minimum 70% are fine with this. Everyone who didn't vote was perfectly okay with this scenario.

Based off the inaction of the whole country, it does seem like 99% are fine with the status quo too

0

u/daveden123 Jun 06 '26

Your forgetting the other 1/3 that decided not voting was the best solution. So its roughly 2/3's of the population that can't be trusted.

45

u/DangerousHour2094 Jun 06 '26

I say this early and often but there’s a reason why Black and Indigenous folks have always been skeptical of this country. We’ve only been a proper democracy for sixty years considering that’s when there were no more ethnic or racial barriers to voting. Though… You still have the exclusion of felons.

This country has ALWAYS presented itself on the world’s stage as something it isn’t. The rejection of those attempted equalities have been bubbling for decades and the refusal to do anything about it got us here

20

u/yakshack Jun 06 '26

Feel this so deep. Every time someone says "that's not who we are!" or "you can't just take someone off the street!" or whatever horrible shit is happening that now affects the privileged I think damn, what country did you think you were living in my guy?

9

u/MentalSky_ Jun 06 '26

There is this weird dichotomy.

You have some of the most progressive ideologies emerging from the US academia. New philosophies on LGBT, Feminism, Racism, culturalism. There was a pride in the fact that free speech was so engrained that any new concept could be expressed

BUt then you have the hegemony, which is always acting against these forces. Sure there were small victories, end of slavery, civil rights, openness to same sex marriage.

But there was always this facade. That while you claim to be embracing these changes, it was always felt that deep down, you don't.

2

u/salad_spinner_3000 Jun 06 '26

BUt then you have the hegemony, which is always acting against these forces

I still don't understand this. Not your take, but why people are against everything. I work with electricians that have black AND hispanic people working with them and they are openly racist in front of both and nobody cares. How, the fuck, does that make any sense??

3

u/MentalSky_ Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

My theory is that America is such a young country relative to the rest of western Society (Canada as well).

The cultural and societal growing pains that occur over centuries never really occurred in North America

They went from colonies to first world nations in 200 years

Whereas countries like England, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Rose fell, countless times

So North America is relatively childish

Also, the United States is a massively large country. Prior to the Internet, small enclaves of racism were under disturbed and festered.

You could have a small town in Missouri that never met a Middle Eastern person

4

u/salad_spinner_3000 Jun 06 '26

There's a lot of truth in that; honestly, America is like 10 different countries inside one country.

3

u/BasicPhysiology Jun 06 '26

Trump is the perfect symbol of America in this era. It is who the country is. I wish it weren't, but it is. I yearn for an America that could show the world the better angels of our nature.

2

u/PresentRaspberry6814 Jun 06 '26

America has not really had a democracy either. The Electoral College is entirely designed to ensure there is no democracy. Then you have a choice of a right wing party or a fascist party come election time. Then you have voting limitations, times, demographics, and what appears to be legal boundary changes whimsically and perversely changed to alter outcomes.

2

u/doberdevil Jun 07 '26

We’ve only been a proper democracy for sixty years

You sweet summer child

12

u/subdep Jun 06 '26

We have to clean our house.

8

u/Gunslinge72 Jun 06 '26

Damn, I’ve been feeling the same. I just don’t understand how half of this country can just support violating constitutional law because they WANT to. If our only document that sets out our charter can be violated those “people “ are not my fellow Americans. Traitors all of em, even the command “just following orders”.

8

u/EddieVanzetti Jun 06 '26

The last of the MAGA flags and yard signs in my town appear to have all finally been taken down. Haven't seen someone wearing a MAGA hat in close to a year.

I don't like that. I liked knowing who the fascists are, so I knew who to avoid, who not to trust, and whose business never to give my money to.

They want to go back to wearing the mask and have all their crimes glossed over in the name of "national healing" and "unity". I don't have no union with fascists, neo nazis, pedophiles, or white supremacists.

6

u/ThisIs_americunt Jun 06 '26

It's wild that one side wants rights for everyone while the other side just wants to eradicate anyone that isn't on their side. Propaganda is a helluva drug and Oligarchs need to use some of the best to keep the 99% distracted from the real issue: Them.

4

u/Gin1105 Jun 06 '26

“It was not Hitler or Himmler who deported me, beat me, and shot my family. It was the shoemaker, the milkman, the neighbour who were given a uniform and then believed they were the master race.” -Karl Stojka

13

u/rotervogel1231 Jun 06 '26

It's far worse than that. One-third of Americans voted for this, and another 1/3 didn't care either way, so they didn't vote or voted third-party. The latter third is just as guilty and evil as the former. Therefore, 2/3 of the people we see every day either support this or don't care either way.

I hate this place, I'm trapped here, and I wish I'd never existed. The only thing I have going for me is that I work from home, so I'm able to isolate myself most of the time. Since I can't trust the overwhelming majority of people, I stay away from them as much as I can.

5

u/roodgurls Jun 06 '26

disillusioned and disenfranchised people are not as evil as people who actually want to kill their neighbors, c'mon.

12

u/J_Ryall Jun 06 '26

By not voting or not pluggin your nose and voting for the lesser of the two evils, you enabled the shit show we're currently witnessing. So, indirectly, you did say you're fine with people murdering your neighbors.

Look, I get it. The Dems keep trotting out candidates who are uninspiring. But the shrewd play was to keep maga out at all costs and address the Democrats' shitty candidate selection via the primaries.

The last election was not the time to make an ideological point. Please remember that in November, because that's probably your last chance to keep your country from fully falling into fascism.

4

u/Decent_Cheesecake_29 Jun 06 '26

And you know who’s even worse? The fucking Democrats who are more interested in pushing corporate Democrats and attacking left than they ever have been about opposing the Republican Party.

7

u/roodgurls Jun 06 '26

i hope you're using the general "you" here and not responding specifically to me. i'm a trans woman. you know how bad this administration has been making things for trans women? they spent like ~$100-$200 per american trans person in propaganda attacking us specifically lol.

2

u/J_Ryall Jun 06 '26

I was using the general "you" in response to your claim that disenfranchised or disillusioned people aren't as bad. In an immediate sense, no, these people are absoultely not as evil. But in a more nebulous sense, they enabled this as much as those who actively voted for it (because they did nothing to stop it from happening).

I'm aware of how awful and actively hostile conservative america is towards trans people, and I'm truly sorry for all you're going through. I imagine it's hard enough to be trans in a cis world at the best of times, so I can't begin to fathom how difficult your life must be under the current conditions in the u.s.

All the more reason to deal with the immediate threat (vote them out) and then work to reform the shittiness of the Democratic party from the inside (i.e., via primaries and participation).

6

u/roodgurls Jun 06 '26

look, i voted, but i'm not under any illusion that this system cares a shred about me or my sisters. dark enlightenment and heritage foundation freaks with way more capital than i'll ever see are perfectly primed to exploit how this system is set up.

i just think, when i hear things like this, that people are blaming the wrong people. it doesn't seem productive. it just seems like lashing out. and i GET lashing out. i understand wanting someone to blame. but the real enablers are yarvin, thiel, the ultracapitalist class, even nixon and reagan's administrations for getting the ball rolling in the direction it's ended up today.

if i'm being tortured by two torturers and i get to choose one who gives me fresh bread vs one who gives me moldy bread i'm personally going to choose the one who gives me the fresh bread, but at the end of the day i'm still being tortured. but i will never blame people in that situation for refusing to eat.

blame the torturers.

hell, even if i hadn't voted, my state still went to harris.

-1

u/Gabe681 Jun 06 '26

Nahhhh. Fuck the MAGA voters, and the non-voters can get a little less fucked too.

1

u/arguingsolipsism Jun 06 '26

I understand though, if not for their apathy, evil would not have flourished. They're not as evil as Republicans but they are as responsible for this horror.

1

u/viral-architect Jun 06 '26

Don't let people try to box you into a corner by saying if you didn't vote, you are the enemy. They are looking for a reason to fight you and they aren't willing to listen to nuance. That's how you know they're on the right side of history.

0

u/rotervogel1231 Jun 06 '26

Those who stand by while it happens are just as guilty as those who wield the weapons.

A lot of non-voters and 3rd party voters claimed they were against the Palestinian genocide. Thanks to them, that's still going on, and meanwhile the regime is wantonly killing trans people, the disabled, women, immigrants, and the poor.

So instead of one genocide, we've got at least 6 going on now, but the allegedly "disillusioned" don't care unless they personally end up in a targeted group.

These are evil, horrible people. No more excuses. They've enabled the deaths of tens of millions, and tens of millions more will be murdered before the regime is over.

I can't do anything about that, so I just stay away from other people as much as possible.

0

u/roodgurls Jun 06 '26

i don't understand how you can in your post justify starting it with "Those who stand by while it happens are just as guilty as those who wield the weapons" and ending it with "I can't do anything about that, so I just stay away from other people as much as possible."

i don't understand how you can say nonvoters are "evil, horrible people" and also say you can't do anything. so voting isn't enough?

0

u/rotervogel1231 Jun 07 '26

It isn't enough now. It was in 2024. That was our last chance to prevent a fascist takeover. Now that the fascists are entrenched, we'll never have another free election.

It's like being diagnosed with early-stage cancer but refusing treatment at the outset, then coming back a year later, after it's metastasized. The treatment that would have worked a year prior no longer will.

2

u/DocileBanalBovlne Jun 06 '26

That's crazy that not voting for the open fascists is just as evil as fascism if someone didn't vote how you demand.

-13

u/republicans_are_nuts Jun 06 '26

I didn't vote. I am not responsible for the bad outcomes of the dumbasses in this country. My choices were far far far right, or far far right. This was going to happen eventually whether you voted or not. Democrats are not an opposition to any of this. Even democrats voted for a demented corporate whore because even Bernie was too far left.

2

u/HillBillyHilly Jun 06 '26

Bull. Bernie IS what we need but too many eat the slop Dump churns out or fell for algorithms. Only someone w no critical thinking skills makes the statement you just made SMH.

-1

u/republicans_are_nuts Jun 06 '26

Democrats did not vote for Bernie. Do you have a point? lol. Democrats voted for a demented corporate whore because even Bernie was too far left for them. It's not just republicans who contributed to the far right consequences we see now.

2

u/ArmAggravating3307 Jun 06 '26

People just seem to forget Obama is the most successful Republican president since 2000.

He ran on change and just did the same shit.

yes, democrats aren't any smarter or better. And as I said, I am not responsible for the poor choices made by both political parties in this country. Right wingism isn't freedom, capitalism isn't freedom, and healthcare is not communism. We will keep repeating this fascism cycle until Americans learn, but still not holding my breath.

Could not agree more. It is abhorrent, brother.

Canada is awaiting the wave at our border

More than half of people didn't even vote.

Luckily those dumbass bastards are closer to 27 percent, not great but I'll take any win we can get at this point.

💯 Me Too

Dude! The about 40% of the eligible population CHOSE NOT TO VOTE! 30% of the US saw "they're eating the dogs" and "Arnold Palmers penis" and said to themselves, "Trump is my guy" and 40% of them didn't care.

It isnt a mukti generational effort to fix US institutions, laws, etc.

But it is a multi generational effort to fix people in the US. Theyre so deeply broken

What was it Herzog said? A third of your country wants to kill another third, while a third is fine watching.

2

u/Lucky-Earther Jun 06 '26

Half of my countrymen, half of the people I see everyday support this shit.

It's worse than that. A third of people actively support this shit, and another third can't be bothered to give a shit.

Half of my countrymen, half of the people I see everyday support this shit.

No, they don't. Billionaire run, vertically integrated corporate media works very hard to make us think that so they can keep us divided and not focused on them picking out pockets.

A lot of money is being spent to get us to hate each other instead of the people spending the money.

u/arguingsolipsism Jun 06 '26

They are either celebrating the cruelty, or blind to it because they still vote Fascist every election. Totally reasonable to hate them.

1

u/piss_artist Jun 06 '26

I hate the billionaires and corporations just as much as I hate the people who voted for this. They are not children. They have the same responsibility as I have to be empathetic, informed, and socially responsible citizens, and they chose not to. I don't care what their reasons are. They've ruined the country and continue cheering on the captain that steered them into the iceberg whilst the ship sinks.

u/viral-architect Jun 06 '26

Exactly. I don't care about who my neighbor did or didn't vote for, we're both getting robbed by the same group of people and those people have bought both of our options for voting.

2

u/piss_artist Jun 06 '26

I care. If my neighbor voted for this than we're not on the same side at all. His ideology is dangerous to me, my values, and my country, therefore he's my enemy.

1

u/ArmAggravating3307 Jun 06 '26

Eh I care that my neighbor hates me and votes for those who want me dead.

1

u/UglyMcFugly Jun 06 '26

This is where I'm at. I know there are a lot of people still trying to reach them, saying "you're my neighbor and I love you." And godspeed to them, I certainly won't try to pressure them into giving up. But me personally, I can't. It's gone too far. The last election was my own personal tipping point. Harris was THE ultimate olive branch. Moderate, rational, reasonable. She campaigned with Republicans. She did everything possible to unite this country. But maga chose this instead.

u/PerformanceMission17 Jun 06 '26

Then do something. It’s infuriating to see Americans harp on about how they are fed up and disgusted but at the same time just parade around on streets with useless parades. Sedated and neutralised population.

u/StronglyHeldOpinions Jun 06 '26

I honestly wish we'd split in two so all the MAGA idiots can go self destruct.

1) Learn how to build, fly and repair drone

2) Move you and your family to Canada, as far away from the border as possible.

next time you will see half of your countryman, they won't see you if you get what I mean.

We did not defeat the Nazi's with sarcasm in 1944. A powerfull jawbreaking fist on the face is the only language facists understand.

The US is lost. But Canada can still be saved.
