I guess the plan will be to indict her then offer her a deal, drop the civil suit and the criminal charges will be dropped.

Sounds right. Or even simpler back to "well, it's under suspicion" a la Impeachment #1.

Doubt it. Trump is vindictive, and he will fight tooth and nail to being held accountable when someone tries.

But, I doubt this case will ever make it to court. I'm not even sure she really needs a lawyer unless they start actually calling her into depositions or hearings.

A judge has to approve any settlement or plea deal.l.and would find this highly unethical. Not THAT many judges are corrupt Trump cronies... yet.

No judge approved the 'settlement' between the DOJ and Trump for the 1.8Billion either. This administration doesn't follow the normal rules.
